Jeynuh POV

I'm up and running before my alarm clock sounds and usually I'd be dead asleep in bed while the alarm continues to blare. I think to myself, IT'S THE LAST MONTH OF SCHOOL and that means GRADUATION IN 30 DAYS BABY! Yes, I realize that I still have 30 days of school left, but it still means something. I run to my bathroom, strip off my pajamas, and hop into the shower. Fresh out of the shower, I wrap my towel around my body and walk out of the bathroom to pick an outfit. I end up going with some black jeans that I rolled up, and a flowy, short sleeved baseball tee. (image above) As soon as I'm changed, I walk back into my bathroom and apply some light makeup. Just a bit of a natural eyeshadow, some mascara, and a little bit of lip gloss.

I finally make my way running down the stairs to grab some breakfast. After stuffing my face as fast as I could, I hop over a few things, grab my bag, slip on my converse, and run to my car. To clear things up, I'm in a huge rush because my best friend carpools with me so I'm heading to her house right now. After 5 minutes, I pull up to my best friend's driveway and I text her to come out.

Jeynuh: YO IM OUTSIDE HURRY UP

Right when I hit send, the passenger door opens and in comes a flustered Angie.

Angie: I'M ALREADY IN YOUR CAR YOU DORK

I laugh at her as she fixes her messy hair. We pull out of the drive way and make our way to school or hell as we like to call it. Angie plugs her phone into the aux cord and plays our car playlist and we both jam out to the various songs that come up. A few minutes later, we make it to school and park in the parking lot. As soon as we're parked, we jump out of the car and made our way into the school. When we stepped foot into the school, we heard a group of shrieks come from behind us. Angie and I looked at each other, grin, and turn around to find the rest of our friends and we run to them.

"Guys! I can't believe we only have one month of school left! Time flew by so fast!" I manage to say while being squeezed to death by hugs.

"SERIOUSLY RIGHT?!" Yana yells back. After our quick greeting, we all head to our homeroom class. Two periods passed by in a flash and now we were heading to our table in the lunchroom. We all sat down and shared our food with each other. Some of us get up to go to the book store and buy some cup noodles. Once we all got our food we began to eat. A few minutes later our other two friends joined us, Adam and Kyle. I like to think of these two as my school brothers because they're usually there for me to rant to and we always update each other on any recent news/drama.

Once lunch was over, the whole group went to our usual hangout spot since we all had free period together.

"Ya know, I'm so ready for school to be over with already." Savanna says while we're all enjoying a piece of candy that Angie and I bought.

"Yeah, plus we're gonna turn up in summer." Gianna replies while raising her hands in the air.

"Guys, let's be real here, summer is gonna be lit as fuck, but for one, we ain't letting Kyle drive fosho." I say as I laugh and everyone joins in.

"Shut up 'scrub,' I think I'm a pretty good driver." Kyle tries to defend himself. I just stick my tongue out at him and roll my eyes while he playfully scoffs. I swear this kid is so stubborn.

"Whatever you say, 'pleb,' then you get to drive the guys." Yana teases.

The rest of the day goes by quickly because the end of school finally came as the last bell sounds. Our group of friends meet up by the tree and we pile into our cars and head over to the bubble tea shop. I get into my car along with Angie, Gianna, and Shay. Savanna, Yana, and Lisa end up riding with Kyle and Adam.

After bubble tea, I drop off all my friends and head back home. I Kick my shoes off, greet my parents, and head upstairs to my room. If you're wondering, I'm not an only child, my older brother is actually in his senior year in college, so he's out of the house. Now that that is out of the way, I change into some comfortable sweats and begin to work on my homework. Half an hour into my homework, I get a Skype call from Yana and answered it.

"Aye what's good?" we say in unison and laugh.

"Dude I completely forgot what math homework was." Yana says. Sadly, we didn't have the same math teacher so I couldn't help her there. "No one else is replying to me and the only other person there is to ask is Braden." I slightly cringe at the sound of that name and remember something. I quickly brushed the thought off and replied to Yana.

"Hey actually, I still have him on FaceBook, I'll ask for you." I fake a smile as I told her.

"That would be awesome thanks girl!"

I quickly log into my old FaceBook account after what feels like forever of not being on there. I pull up my old conversation with him and mentally scold myself while I start to type and remember my old chats with him.

Jeynuh: Braden

Braden's POV

I started working on my homework online when I hear a buzz. I look over at my phone and see an unexpected FaceBook notification. I looked at it in curiosity and thought about how long it had been since I went on it.

Jeynuh: Braden

Jeynuh: Braden

It's been two years since Jeynuh and I talked. I quickly reply back.

Braden: Yes

Braden: Forgot I still had this app

*20 minutes later*

She still hasn't replied, what the fuck. So, I message her again.

Braden: Okay then. Keeping me waiting I see.

Suddenly the chat bubbles appeared.

Jeynuh: LOL sorry

Jeynuh: Could you text me instead, FaceBook's kinda lame

I thought for a second.

...

Jeynuh's POV

I waited for his reply, but I ended up just going back to Skype to work on homework with Yana. After 20 minutes I finally go back to FaceBook and checked it, finding 3 notifications.

Braden: Okay then. Keeping me waiting I see.

Jeynuh: LOL sorry

Jeynuh: Could you text me instead, FaceBook's kinda lame

Braden: Uh sure. Do you have my number? ._.

Jeyhun: No lol

Braden: Ha ok ***-***-**** I trust you won't give it out.

I shake my head and giggle quietly.

Jeynuh: Oh wow. No shit I won't.

I create a new contact for him and text him.

J: Hey

B: Hey

J: Okay lol so uh Yana needs math homework and no one else is replying to her.

B: That's it? Wow

B: It's 20-5 to 20-15

J: Aight thanks.

And with that, a new situation began to stir...

A/N: HEEYYYY GUYSSSS!!!! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of this story... I'll reveal a little something in the future, but right now I actually have to finish a book for school and at least stat on the decor for my project. :( BUTTTTTTTT luckily I'm still on winter break so I'll probably update every morning until school starts again.
