Its cold outside ,she drags herself to the mirror frantically trying to cover the bruises but it only makes it worse he said he was sorry he said he would never do it again, her family told her to run he is vile and poisonous. what do they know? she's blinded by love or her own sick twisted version of love what can she say what will they ask those questions burn in the back of her bruised head tasting vile in her mouth, she could say she fell down some stairs or she ran into a door but it looks more like she got hit by an 18 wheeler on the highway, she knows they will know its a lie, just a matter of time before another report is filed, and she doesn't see it as abuse she blames herself , she won't leave him how can you leave someone you "love"? so she'll stay taking beating after beating day after retched day the same routine a vicious cycle that won't be broken until she breaks it and leaves her bruises behind.
