Everyone is at least a little curious about the workings of "love". Why do humans go through it? Why does it do the things it does to the human mental state? This question got the attention of some very rich people. They in turn hired some very smart people.

The goal of the venture was to create some type of system that would allow a person to confirm if they were truly in love. The hired scientists had created a vaccination that reacted with the neurotransmitters adrenaline, dopamine, and serotonin. This was, to be more specific, a chemical reaction. It would cause your chest to emit a faint red glow when those three chemicals and the vaccination would all come together. Scientists later named it "Red Glow".

Much time was spent on making the vaccine safe for humans. Doctors, biologists, and various other scientists had come together to discuss it. After the first safe human vaccination the drug spread rapidly. People were a little skeptic at first, but after more and more people saw results the skepticism vanished entirely. After a few generations, people noticed something. All of the children born to the mothers that were vaccinated with "Red Glow" were showing signs of having "Red Glow" in their own systems.

Doctors studied the people and saw nothing wrong with their mental or physical health. Dismissing it as luck for not having to pay for a vaccination themselves, people continued with their daily lives.
