She grabbed my wrist and strapped a small device to it, a Vortex Manipulator.

"What are you doing?" I asked, ignoring the screams from outside.

"Saving your life Lily. You have your life to live, I love you sweet heart"

Heated tears fell down my face as an explosion happened near by.

"I love you too"

My mum pressed the Vortex Manipulator as a Dalek rolled through the doors and shot her, then everything went black....

"Come on misery guts what's wrong?"

"I think its the fact he just divorced our insane daughter Amy"

"So? That was four days ago anyway you just wasn't meant to be, never mind move on, find someone else"

"Amy I think this is something me and The Doctor should talk about"

"No he's fine with me here aren't you, you old softy"

I stood up and wiped the tears from my eyes and turned to them both, my voice cracking spoke "I.... I just need time alone, please"

I walked off to the library and sat by the pool which was inside the library, I stared at my reflection and slammed my fist into the water.

Me and River had divorced, it was both of our choices but it still killed me inside to see her go off with someone else and leave me here alone. Sure I had Amy and Rory but some day they'd go and they'd have a life of their own, a family of their own.

"Doctor the TARDIS scanner is playing up" Rory shouted.

"She always plays up" I called back.

"Doctor she's saying she's found some massive ounce of parallel energy breaking through the rift.... What does that mean Doctor?"

I ran to the console room and smacked the scanner, no change.

"This is bad, very bad. On a scale of one to ten in badness I'd label it a thousand"

"Explain please" Any stood with her arms crossed staring at me.

"There are parallel universes similar to ours, spread out through out time. In my last regeneration I closed them off for good but it looks as if someone or something has broken through"

"But how?"

"Thats what I'm going to find out, if I can pin point the energy circumfrence... There we go! Earth 2013 oh its always Earth isn't it? Never mind let's go"

Everything was blurry, my head pounded like a ton of bricks had been crushed into my skull and were now trying to force there way out.

I groaned and sat up taking in my new surroundings in, I was in a field full of sheep. I stood up dizzily and sniffed the air, Earth definetly Earth but something was different. The air tasted funny, it tasted more salty and more greasy. I picked up some grass and ate it, nothing out of the ordinary. I opened my pocket and grabbed my sonic screwdriver and scanned the area then looked at the result and gasped.

"This field is full of rift energy which is floating around me but how?"

There was a strong gust of wind behind.

"Unless..."

"Unless your from a parallel universe"
