" I'm sorry to say but Reed is pregnant." The doctor told me.
My heart just literally broke.
She is only 13.
" how? how far along and is the baby ok?" I ask frantically.
The doctor smiles sadly.
uh-oh.
"I believe she was raped. She is about 4 months and the baby is fine." He says.
I almost throw up.
what kind of sick person would so that to such a sweet girl.
"ok thanks, can I see her?" I ask
"sure follow me." he says kindly.
He starts to walk and I follow him.
he leads me to a room and opens it and I go in.
he gives me a nod and leaves.
"wait!" I call out before he shuts the door.
he nods for me to continue.
" can you tell the people I was with to come back." I ask
He nods and leaves.
I walk in and see Reed asleep on the bed.
I walk over and grab her hand.
Her eyes flutter open.
" Hey baby girl." I say softly.
" Hi." she smiles.
"How you feeling." I ask.
"I was just stabbed. What do you think?" She says sarcastically.
I chuckle.
" did the doctor tell you the news?" I ask.
"ya" she says then starts sobbing.
I walk up and hug her.
she cries into my shirt getting it wet but I don't care.
"shhh, baby girl don't cry it will be ok." I say trying to comfort her.
"no it.... wont.... I am only.... 13" she says in between sobs.
" I know, I know. but what about abortion?" I say.
she looks up at me as if I have gone crazy.
" no, no, no I will not kill a baby." she almost shouts.
" ok, ok sorry. How about adoption?" I ask.
she shakes her head.
" no, no I couldn't do that. I want to keep it. please don't make me give him away." she says scared.
" princess I wont. you can keep it." I say.
just then there was a knock on the door.
" come in" I call after looking at Reed to see if its ok.
All the boys walk in and smile when they see Reed. They all start to run to her when Reed yells.
" stop! One at a time please." She yells.
They all nod and one at a time hug her.
after they are done a doctor walks in.
"hello Reed. would you like to know the gender?" she asks with a small smile.
"yes please" Reed replies.
all the boys look around confused.
the doctor pulls up Reed's hospital gown and has her lay down.
she then tells her that she will be putting this cold gel.
Reed nods and she puts it on her stomach.
she winces as if it was cold. probably was.
I look at the boys and it looks as if they now realized what was going on.
They look at Reed as if she is some slut.
I then turn around to see the doctor talking to Reed.
then I hear the shocking news of the baby.
" congrats Reed you are having.........................."
