Strangers

"Uh!Finally!!"Nissa sighed as she came back from a hectic day of school and dived deep into the couch clutching "The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire" ready to be read. It was Saturday and she felt relieved to finally get the chance to relax and read her favorite book for the fifth time. Yeah that's Nissa in and out. Once she likes a book, she will keep on rereading it until she finds a better one and its surprising how boredom never hits her when it comes to reading books.

"How was your day,Honey?" asked her Mum from the kitchen.
"It was good,Mum," but the monotony in her voice said it all.

Once done with reading, Nissa finished taking a shower and lied down on her bed. She picked up her phone from her bedside table without even taking a second to locate it among all the other things that were piled on the table. Upon turning it on she saw someone has "DM"ed her on Instagram.

Too tired to think who it might be,Nissa opened a message and was immediately struck with immense surprise and confusion.
It was none other but SHANE STEFAN.The very guy with whom her best friend's in love with.

Nissa was perplexed why he would DM her all of a sudden when she had never talked to him before. He sent her a picture which said "Hi!" and below that he wrote,"Wanna play pool?"
Very few people knew that Nissa loved playing pool so it was quite a shock for her. Nevertheless, curious as hell to talk to the love of her best friend's life, she replied,"Yeah,sure. How'd u know btw?That I play pool?"

A minute later he replied,"Well I pretty much guess it:3"

They played like 5-6 matches in a row. After that they started talking about different stuffs and Nissa came to know that he got to know her from his brother.After some time Shane finally wrote,"Can u giv me ur number. I mean we could text."

This isn't something Nissa was expecting. She didn't usually give her number to everyone, especially those whom she met for the first time. Hence she replied, "Sorry but I don't give my number to strangers;p". After sending it she realized that she wrote "strangers",which was something she didn't intend to write. She was worried he might feel offended or something but to her surprise he wrote,"Lol. I thought so:p I'll probably wait till I'm no longer a stranger to u :3"

Nissa blinked and rubbed her eyes to ensure whether she was reading it right. She reread all their texts from the beginning to be sure if it was true...
