God created us and each life here is made up of 5 elements which are called Panchtatva or Panchbhoot and these are Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space/Sky. All these five elements are important for our survival.
Coming to the life, there are five stages of life- Birth, Infancy, Childhood, Adolescence and Adulthood. Each of these stages should be fulfilled with the needs which are required to ensure that we will remain healthy as we grow older.
Five is also considered auspicious no. In Hindu Religion. We take five fruits as 'prasad' and 'panchamrita' is also made of five ingredients- Curd, Honey, Ghee, Punchmeva and Gangajal.
Five rupees can make a crying child happy because it can buy him a chocolate.
Whenever we appear in exams and we are not able to finish it on time we to say "Agar panch minute aur mil jate toh khatam ho jata"
(If we would have got 5 more minutes, we could have finished it), we never think if we were not able to finish it in 3 hours, what can we write in just 5 minutes??
But then there are some special talented people who can even write an answer within five minutes.
I believe on the line 'Five can make us and five can break us.' I would like to define it with some logic. We have five fingers in our hand, without these five fingers we can't make a fist. Making fist symbolises strength and unity but if we use it on the face of someone it will surely break the nose or can give blue-black eye.
Now moving to place, Punjab ( state of India) literally mean 'The Land of Five Rivers' referring to the following- The Jhelum, The Chenab, The Ravi, The Sutlej and The Beas.
