Laurance's POV

I was still thinking about Emmalyn...Aphmau wouldn't make anyone cry. She is a kind flower...I decided to question her. I got off of bed and I didn't see her

I mentally slap myself and ponder over something that's been bothering me a bit, why was Emmalyn crying when I came? Aphmau was the kindest person i've ever met, she wouldn't hurt a soul.

Except for Zane but he doesn't count, he's a soulless MONSTER after all...

The word 'Monster' kept echoing through my head. As much as I hate Zane, I'm more of a monster compared to him. Flashbacks of me going 'Shadow' as I like to call it, I was more worried than ever now. Fenrir could be on his way now with a whole werewolf army out to get us! All because of... Me. What am I thinking, I didn't betray everyone for the person I love. I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't help a MONSTER. I can feel energy surge through me, evil energy. I can feel myself starting to tur- Wait, I can see Aph reappearing!

Aphmau's POV

I wake up as one thought is in my head, I am so sorry Emmalyn... I try to get up but I feel a jerking pain in my right arm and especially my hand, the one I used to grab the shard. It wasn't purple and black but hurt like the Nether. I turn my head only to see Laurence, watching me... Sleep...? Again?... I finally saw the bright shining sun appear in front of my eyes. "Laurance didn't we talk about this? I always disappear like this.." "Wait! I just started to go jumping to conclusions" I laughed which then turned into a cough. I tried to play it off but Laurance didn't believe any of it. "Aphmau, what's wrong?" He asked "nothing nothing just um...." I grabbed my arm. The pressure he out on my arm was too much all I remembered was Laurance running out the door.

Emmalyn POV

Kenmur had been trying for hours trying to cheer me up. Instead he made things worse. "Em..." I told him I was thankful for his help but I needed time alone. He left. And then Katelyn came in. I never really had a bonding with her. She would always be far away from me. I don't even know if she thought I existed."Emmalyn right?" She asked. I nodded my head. She sat down on the chair and pulled her sky blue hair back."Aphmau is dying." I stopped breathing for a second Aphmau is dying? WHY? "Why is she dying?" "Well she is in a deep deep sleep and Zoey cannot wake her up. But she did notice a purple and black substance on her arm." I then hit the table "ZOEY AND I STRICTLY TOLD HER NOT TO ACTIVATE THAT POW-" "but she didn't Laurance says that was went into that dream world. She reappeared coughing and then passed out. We don't know if she is going to make it or not." "What is it in for me? She told me to leave her alone after all...she hates me the last person she wants is me to save her life." "She asked for you specifically... Please come help her" I didn't want to go but my feet made me run faster and faster to Aphmau. The minute I looked at her only 2 words could escape my lips, "Oh no..."
