Authors Note: Please know this is my first time writing a fic and I have not yet edited my mistakes :) I do not own any of the characters I just own the idea of the fanfic because I just love dancings and balls and harry potter >.< Enjoy!

Y/N POV

You woke up by your (pet) nipping at you. Groaning in annoyance pushing (pet/n) gently off the bed, sitting up you look at the time and your calendar.

'Today - Yule Ball'.

Your eyes widened jumping off your bed and to the bathroom muttering all the things needed to be squished into one hour, And in the floor your (pet) with a know-it-all look.

~TIME SKIP YEA!~

Curling the last strand of hair you did not have enough time to put on makeup until- Knock, Knock. Sighing you quickly stuffed some makeup in your dress for later. Walking to the door you were greeted with Severus. Grinning as you looked at the (favorite/flower).

"You remembered". you gushed as he gave them to you. Giving him a small peck on the cheek making it heat up just a bit you linked your arms with his and headed to the ball. (But Severus quickly grabbing the makeup out saying you look pretty already).

As you entered the gates you gasped in its beauty it's your first year while Severus was on his third. Looking around everything was so elegant and the students were just gorgeous. It felt like you were in a dream. Still in awe to notice Severus dragging you to a table until you heard the groan of the chair.

You gave Severus a thankful grin as you sat down and he tucked you so you were to be comfortable. Severus leaned in close to your ear making you go red a bit, "I'll go get food" he whispered feeling his warm breath against your neck gaining goosebumps. You quickly nodded covering your cheeks.

Severus snickered walking of as you stare into the dance floor. People was just talking until Severus came and the dance began. Getting excited you jumped to your feet ignoring the yummy eclair until a hand grabbed your wrist. "We. Are. Not. Dancing". Severus said slowly pulling you back.

Your eyes widened "what?! why?!" clearly upset. It was your first year and your first time to experience this ball and you were not able to perform the main thing you do in Yule Balls. Dance.

"Y/N you know perfectly well why. I. Dont. Dance" Severus muttered looking away. You huffed. Stubborn self you thought of ways.

"Well what about-"

"No"

"But"

"No"

You whined you really wanted to dance with Severus tonight. Quickly glancing back to the ball room then back at Snape you glared.

"Well fine I really wanted to dance, much better dance with you but I am not having my night ruined because of you". You said as an attempt to guilt trip him but he remains unphased.

Hurt you frowned "enjoy the night Snape" you whispered walking away from him as Snape winced as you only used his last name when you were mad.

Snape sighed. Although he stood his ground... Just watching you incase.

Looking around in awe like you were in a candy shop as a kid you did not notice the boys who noticed the lone bunny as they eyed you like wolves. Severus noticed this though.

Severus figeted as he watches you being ambushed by brutal wolves. He glared as you accepted short dances from them. 'You were suppose to-' Severus thought until he realised what got you to dance with others in the first place.

As your third dance ended a boy roughly grabbed you facing him you politely smiled "evening" you said your smile faltering as he eyed you up and down.

"Evening babe" he purred as you cringed a bit not liking how a guy you have not known much gave you a nickname like that.

As time went on this dance was the longest his hands kept sliding lower and you began to panic as he ignored your attempts to keep his hands at an appropriate level squishing your hand if you did.

Severus saw this very clear. He was fuming. He was the only one to be able to touch you like that. But he wont. Atleast not until your ready.

Seberus had enough and raced to you as he saw you clearly uncomfortable and him squishing your hand and waist so much as he grew closer you can see how red it is.

You notice Severus coming closer scarier than you ever seen him. The guy that held you was twice as big as Severus but him aswell felt a bit shaken.

Severus bowed and sent a threatening glare to the boy as he let you go. Severus took your hands as you leaned in closer placing your head in his chest grinning.

"I'm sorry Severus muttered trying to ignore the looks he got. You just shook your head giving Severus a quick peck showing you did not care.

As the dance went longer all eyes were on both of you was Severus was talented in dancing. Twirling you around, spinnning you in the air and all sorts of tricks.

People began blurring as if you two were just alone in the world. Severus began notcing the end of the song as he quickly dipped you at the last note your right leg in the air as both of you looked into each others eyes in a trance.

Smiling Severus pulled you back up and people appluased and wolf whistled. Giggling you grabbed Severus hand guiding you out the ballroom to somewhere more romantic.

Heading to thw balcony the two of you love birds just leaned into a passionate kiss fireworks and sparks everywhere.

Pulling away you were almost out of breath. Looking softly into Severus eyes you walked to the edge of the balcony beckoning him to come aswell.

"See you can dance"

"I knos it's just it is a memory both a nightmare and a dream. Yoy see ut was Lily who taught me until Potter took her"

"Oh". You frowned looking down realising Lily was always the one he loved.

Severus frowned realising what he said. Lifting your chin you looked into Severus'es eyes filled with love and passion.

"It doesnt mean I don't love you. I love you till the world would end. Which would never. Because you are my world and even in death our souls would be together". He whispered sincere with every letter and word.

Tears brimmed your eyes leaning into another passionate kiss to end the night.

EXTENDED ENDING
And Severus'es words were true. In the end you two were battling the dark lord side by side until unable to. Holding in eachothers arms you were both hit with the unforgivable spell.. 'AVADA KEDAVRA!' Darkness begin to show.
