Harry Styles

When we got to the pool, Niall and Brooke had fallen behind having one of their weird bonding sessions that just showed everyone how strong their emotional connection was already. To be honest, I was the biggest Nooklyn shipper around, they were literally made for each other.

Today though, I'd get to see Kaitlyn, my other half, my partner in crime, my princess. I loved her, I really did, and I was scared because I'd never been in love before, but now I understood. I understood that I'd do anything, risk it all, just to put a smile on her face, even if it meant risking my life.

"When's Kait coming?" Louis asked, snapping me away from my thoughts about the very same girl. I felt my lips twitch upwards at the thought of her being here, being accepted by all my friends, and it was comforting to know that Niall's girl was here so that she wouldn't feel like she was stuck in a homocentric environment.

"She should be here already." My eyes scanned the room and I spotted her. Her blonde hair fell down past her shoulders in waves and she wore her white bikini that always managed to widen my eyes at how beautiful she looked in it. "Wow." I said, and Louis slapped my back with a smirk.

"Go get her tiger." He winked, pushing me towards her. Kait was sat with her head down, eyes focused on her phone as she tapped away.

I made my way over, my feet dragging across the floor. I hadn't seen her for almost a month, and I'd missed her so much; her phone had been in repair for most of that time too, so I barely spoke to her either.

"Hi baby." I spoke lowly, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind and lifting her up to sit on my lap.

"Harry!" She put her phone down and twisted around in my lap to press a sweet kiss to my lips. I grinned and rested our foreheads together and stared at her.

"Wow." I shook my head, raising my eyebrows slightly. "After all this time, you've managed to get even more beautiful than you were. And that's tricky."

Kait blushed and reached her hand up to my cheek. "I still don't know how you manage to make me feel so happy 24/7."

I kissed her cheek softly. "That's because I want you to be happy 24/7."

"I love you." Kaitlyn murmured against my lips, and she moved forwards to press our lips together.

"I love you." I responded back, our lips connecting once again as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

There was an awkward cough noise and some shuffling, so I lifted my head and my eyes met the rest of the lads, Brooke, and Elliot all staring at us, Elliot's eyes wide as saucers.

"Niall, why was Harry licking that lady's face?"

Oh god.

Brooklyn White

My face burned at Elliot's comment, and I covered my mouth with my hand as I suppressed my giggles. "Elliot." Niall said, picking him up. "Harry was just kissing his girlfriend, Kaitlyn."

I smiled at her, taking in her appearance. Although she wore a baby pink coverup, she wore a white bikini, which honestly I couldn't even look half as good as she did in it. Her blonde hair was falling past her shoulders loosely in perfect waves. She had blue eyes, something that I wish I had.

There was a small awkward silence before Niall stepped in a broke it. "Oh, Kaitlyn, this is Brooklyn, our friend, and her son Elliot."

Kaitlyn's eyes lit up when she saw me. "Oh! You're Brooklyn. I've heard a lot." She said as she leaned over to hug me. I almost froze from the sudden physical contact that wasn't from Niall, and I sucked in a breath before wrapping my arms around her waist and hugging her back.

"Harry never shuts up about you." I said in response. "Kait this, Kait that." I mimicked, and Kaitlyn laughed before looking over at Harry who just smiled and shrugged.

"I do love you, you know." Harry said, before Kaitlyn poked her tongue out and diverted her gaze to Elliot.

Her smile brightened even more as she leaned down to his level. "Hiya!" she said with a grin, and Elliot smiled, before he pressed his finger to her nose.

"You're almost as pretty as my mummy."

"Oh god, Elliot." I blushed, pressing my face to Niall's chest in embarrassment; Elliot always gave compliments at the same time as insulting other people. Although it wasn't much of an insult, because Elliot thought I was the 'most beautiful mummy in the universe' so for someone to come close, he must have thought she was pretty.

Kaitlyn picked him up and laughed. "Oh Brooklyn I love him. Hey Harry take a few tips from this kid."

I smiled at how quickly Kaitlyn had adapted to him, and then I noticed that Louis and Liam were splashing about in the water. "Elliot do you want to go in?" I asked him.

"Yes." He said, squirming to the floor from Kaitlyn's grip and walking to the pool's edge, cautiously dipping his toe into the water. "I changed my mind." Elliot looked up to me and stepped backwards.

"C'mon little man." Niall said, sitting down on the edge at the shallow end. I watched fondly and timidly sat at the edge of the pool. There was no way I was going to swim - there was too many bruises and scars from Nate and I didn't feel like showing them off just yet.

Niall glanced at me worriedly as everyone piled into the water, and his eyebrow flicked up as if he was saying 'You okay?'

I smiled reassuringly, but I think it failed as he smiled at Elliot and brought Harry over to take over. He hopped out of the water and made his way over to me, his eyes narrowing the closer he got.

"Okay spill." he said immediately, his eyes staring into mine as his hand sat on my right hip and the left side of my body pressed to his. "I can tell something's upsetting you... what is it?"

"Nothing Niall. It's silly."

"So there is something."

"No it doesn't matter."

"Stop saying it doesn't matter when it always will."

"It doesn't."

"What doesn't?"

"I... what are we arguing about?" I asked, casting my eyes to him, watching as his eyes lit up with a slight sparkle in them. "Listen I'm not comfortable in my own skin. I feel shit whenever I wear something revealing - so, as you can see - it is still something silly."

Niall's hand fell from my hip and both of them then clutched my face softly, and he pressed our noses together. "Nothing is ever something silly if you're upset. Ever."

I shrugged and dropped my eyes to the ground, thinking about Niall's words. Maybe this wasn't something silly; Nate had abused me and I thought it was something silly?

"Stop doing that." Niall said, putting his finger gently on my chin and lifting my head up to meet his gaze. His face was centimeters away from his and it made my heart beat a little faster.

"Doing - doing what?" I asked, stuttering over my words lightly.

"Stop acting like you're not important. You're so important."

"Not to Nate." I responded quickly, my mouth acting before my brain and my thoughts just spilling out, making my cheeks burn lightly.

Niall shook his head. "Well the joke's on him because you're everything to me."
