Every day I wake up and I see black and white. Nothing changes.
I'll never find him. I won't be loved by anyone. I'll be 18 soon and the stories go that if you don't find them by your 18th birthday..it's over for you. who would love a broken girl anyway?

After laying on bed for what felt like an eternity, I decided to get up. I looked at the stamp on my wrist again.

Name: Luke Robert Hemmings
DOB: July 16, 1996
Age: 17
Height: 6'4
Eye color: blue
Hair color: blonde
Location: Sydney, Australia

How the hell was I supposed to fly out to Sydney? My parents would never pay a plane ticket from chicago to Sydney. My job doesn't pay enough for me to maintain myself and buy a plane ticket. Sometimes I wonder if he's ever tried looking for me.

Doubt it.

the location part of the stamp would've changed to Chicago if he had. He's traveled all through Australia and England..but never had a chance to stop by here.

I get dressed in what I basically wear every day, black skinnies, band tank , and some black combat boots. I walk downstairs to see my mom making breakfast and my dad doing business stuff. typical morning.

"Morning" i said.

No answer.

"Rylie sit down" my dad said in a stern voice.

I sat in the chair across from him.

"Yes?" i said. n
My dad always says the most unexpected things so I was bracing myself for what he had in store for me.

"As you know I have to travel a lot. I was informed this morning that the company is being transferred. I know you won't like this but we are moving. Meaning you will start going to a new school at a new place with new people."

Fuck.

I could care less about the moving considering I had no friends here, but having to start over in a new school is just terrifying.

"Where are we going?" i asked scared of the response.

"Sydney, Australia."

oh shit.
