My mouth dropped and I punched his arm "I am not." I said looking down at my stomach
"Come on, atleast give up when it say you reached 4 miles."
"I was tired at half a mile."

"Because I have rhythm, why you not working your water girl bestfriends. I bet they ain't doing shit."
"They dropped me, and I dropped them."

"They said you and I are too close. I guess we been spending too much time together. They act like they wanna spend time with me, they always with Chris or August." He shrugged
August.? I stopped running and looked at him
"You mean Chris right, because August and nahla broke up." I laughed a little
He paused turning around and looked at me.
"What you talking about, they together right now."

"Do August and nahla be together during practice.?"
"All the time."
"You know where August was last Saturday.?" I asked
"Him and nahla went to the movies I think." He shrugged
I bit the inside of my bottom lip nodding "I swear." I sighed
"Why ya bout ta cry.?" He questioned
I didn't even realize my eyes were watering "tired of the bullshit."
"Were you and August, you know.?"
"Working on getting back together yea, I could've stayed crying over Trent for this shit. Atleast, I was in the wrong that time shit."
"Damn, I ain't even know, let's go somewhere." He suggested
"I smell like sweat, and I doubt I'll be into doing anything now."
"Now you know, when ya with daddy Stacey ain't shit boring."
I hesitated for a minute "fine Stacey." I gave in
"I knew ya couldn't turn this muhfuckin light skin face down."
"Wish I could turn the other one down." I sighed
