I was woken up by the sun shining in my face. No one remembered to shut the windows before we all went to sleep.
I roll over in our bed to find the space next to me empty. The covers hadn't even moved. It was as if Riley hadn't even came into the room since we unpacked.
It was almost one in the afternoon and the entire house was still silent. We went to sleep pretty late last night, so it made sense that everyone was still sleeping, but I wasn't about to let everyone sleep all day. We only had like a week and a half left here, and I'm not wasting a second of it.
I throw on a random bathing suit and some shorts over it and open the door to find Logan walking out of the bathroom in nothing but his towel.
"Where is everyone?" I ask
"Jason's knocked out. Your sister and Noah haven't come out of their room either-"
"How about Riley?" I ask
"I thought she was with you. No idea. Haven't seen her since last night."
"Me either. She's probably at the beach."
My eyes kept drifting down to his chest and it was really annoying. He better put on a shirt soon or I'm definitely going crazy.
"This early? Riley never wakes up before two. Especially not after waking up so early yesterday"
I shrug and start heading back to my room. I had to get away from him because knowing he was standing so close to me in nothing but a towel was doing things to me and it's gross. I must be getting my period or something because my hormones are acting up. Logan's always been my brother and absolutely nothing more.
Before I reach my room, I notice Aubrey's door was open and I decide to peek in to see how she was feeling.
She was inside finishing unpacking. Her bed was perfectly made and she managed to keep her room neat, despite all the clothes everywhere.
"What's the plan for today?" I ask, stepping inside
"No clue-" She says. She looks worried.
"Is everything okay? Are you still sick?"
"No, I'm fine. Have you seen Noah anywhere?" She asks
Another person missing.
"He's probably with Riley at the beach" I answer
"Riley woke up before three?"
"Probably; I haven't seen her since last night"
"You were with her last night when I left"
"Yeah but her, Noah, and Jason stayed behind to clean up when me and Logan went to bed."
"Right. They're probably at the beach. We should meet up with them."
"I'll go wake up Jason"
I leave her room and head back to Logan and Jason's. It's been almost twenty minutes and nobody's dressed or ready to leave. We're barely going to get to enjoy the day so they better hurry up.
