Babysitter

Light!

"Is everyone ready?!" Asked Mr. Lester. "Yes dear" Mrs. Lester said. "Yes, but can we gooooo nooowww??!!" Whined Phil's brother and he tugged on his mums sleeve. "Yes darling. But we have to wai-" and at that, she was cut off by the chime of the doorbell.

Dan stood out side on the porch, nervously playing with the bottom of his shirt. The words 'are you up for the challenge?' Rang in his head like a song you can't escape. When the door opened, he jumped the slightest bit, trailing off his thought. "Hello dear!" Sang Mrs. Lester. "Come on in! Make yourself at home!" She pointed out all of the things Dan needed to know about how to keep him happy and healthy for a day. His panic started to settle down as I saw how cute Phil was in his little outfit. He had a cowboy feety pajama suit on completed with a oversized cowboy hat on his head covering his eyes. "Light!" He screamed as he was running towards a wall. I caught him just in time before impact and lifted him up and spun him around. "Your perfect!" Mrs. Lester said as she kissed Phil goodbye and went out the door, waving to me as she dragged her bag at her side.

The rest of the night was perfect! We hasn't a challenge at all, and no frowns what so ever? This was perfect! He was the cutest baby I have babysat ever and was the most well behaved.

The next day the Lesters came back and asked how he was. Dan told them he was amazing and never stopped laughing! "That is amazing! I can't believe it! We have never gotten any news like this from him EVER. Maybe you should come back a babysit again?" Mrs. Lester half asked half told. "Of corse" Dan said. "My pleasure!" As Dan squared down next to Phil, he patted and ruffled his hair as the unexpected happened. Phil fell over and planted a big kiss on Dan's cheek and said his second word, "Mine!"
