chapter 25

Taehyung's POV

I followed Hyera from behind and we ended up in the class. As I was about to enter the class, I saw all of my friends were waiting for me at the front door. They saw me and quickly ran toward me before doing a group hug.

"Hyung!! V!! Congrats !" They said in unison.

I thanked them all and grinned. They noticed i was suffocated by the tight hug and slowly loosened and broke it.

"Sorry." They laughed before congratulating me again.

Today is our last day in school and tonight we'll be having a prom night. My friends and I were cleaning the class. We cleaned everything and rearranged the tables at the centre of the class.

*RECESS*

I walked with my friends towards the canteen and sat at our usual place. "Do you all have your partner yet for tonight?" I asked them and all of them nodded except Jimin.

"Jimin," Rapmon looked at Jimin and Jimin raised his eyebrows, waiting for him to continue his words.

"... you got no jams!!" Rapmon continued and all of us bursted into laughter.

"So V, who's your partner?" Suddenly Jimin asked which made me stop laughing and slowly shooked my head.

"95 liner who have got no jams!!" Rapmon said and they all laughed again. The canteen became really loud that everyone who walked past would have thought we're crazy "Yahh!! Stop it!!" I shouted clearly embarassed. All of them stopped but I could clearly see they were still holding their laughter.

"V ah,you can go with Hyera right? What's the problem with that?" Jhope asked me.

"I'm not sure if she wants to or not.."

We were silent for a few minutes minding our own bussiness until Jimin broke it."V ah!! Let's make a deal? We will compete whether she'll choose you or me."

I was a little taken aback by his words  like um, excuse me she is someone's wife, my wife, you know tf, common sense ffs. On another thought, I am 100 percent sure that she will choose me. And on another another thought, pretty interesting deal, why not give it a try?

"Ok,deal!!" I said smirking enthusiastically.

Hyera's pov

I was infront of my locker, rearranging my things in it. Just then, I was caught offguard when someone tapped my shoulder.

"Ahhh!!!"

"Hey, hey...it's me." Jimin oppa said. I let out a big sigh and slightly slapped his arm." Next time, say hello first! I almost died, for god's sake!" I said and he chuckled.

"What's up?" I asked him and he shyly rubbed the back of his neck."Hyera ,would you like to be my partner for tonight?" he asked and smiled shyly.

Hmm, should I accept him? I was actually waiting for Taehyung to ask me but, I was not sure whether he'll come or not. I think it's better if I wait for him first.

I looked back at Jimin."Jimin oppa, I'm sorry." I stopped when something caught my attention as I saw Taehyung was talking with a girl. It felt like my heart was stabbed by knives.

"Nevermind, I've changed my mind. I will go with you." I continued and flashed him a fake smile. I felt a bit sad to say this but I still managed to hold my smile.
