I awoke to the sound of my alarm vibrating on my nightstand. Or was it my ringtone?
I slumped over the side of my bed and patted the table for my phone. When I finally grabbed onto it, I blindly slid accept and held the phone to my ear. "Hello?"
"Soo Jin! Finally! I've been trying to call you for the past fifteen minutes!" I recognized the deep voice of Manager Byun.
"Where are you?" He demanded.
My eyes shot open and I jumped out of bed.
Crap, crap, crap! The Interview! It's today! This just had to happen on today of all days!
Dubu lazily lifted his head and slowly put it down as I rampaged through my closet.
I chose a white silky blouse and tucked the hem into the waistband my black skinny jeans.
I ran a brush through my hair and brushed my teeth before sprinting into the kitchen. I grabbed my purse and a granola bar, tugging on my black ankle boots and racing out the door.
By the time I got to the radio station, it was eleven o'clock. Twenty-five minutes late. I checked into the front desk and one worker led me through the hallways and into the studio.
Knowing that they videotape every session, I hastily sat down and grinned.
"Ah, Soo Jin. Nice of you to make it." Radio reporter Na Yeol chuckled.
I forced a casual laugh. "Mianhe, filming has taken a toll on my sleeping schedule."
He laughed along and continued the interview. "Yes, now that both of the stars have arrived. Let's fully immerse into the interview."
I glanced to my right and there sits Jungkook, his posture is so straight and formal. His expression blank.
I turn back to Na Yeol who clears his throat. "Alright, Soo Jin-ssi lets start with you. I've heard you've been contemplating on staring in movies now?"
I nodded. "Oh yes, it's been on my mind recently. I think it could be fun."
Na Yeol grinned and turned his attention to Jungkook. "Jungkook-ssi, you have already debuted in many movies. How different is it than filming for a television show?"
That's right. Jeon Jungkook has already participated in tons of movies, unsurprisingly. I have to resist scoffing as he sighed heavily as if answering was too big of a task.
"I, personally, don't think there's too big of a difference. Now if you're talking scheduling then that's another story. The time it takes to film both a movie and a tv show are quite long."
Na Yeol nodded. "Right right. Now aside from the filming industry, tell me how both of your love lives are going. Rumors have been spreading, you know?"
I raised an eyebrow. "What rumors?"
"Well, since you and Jungkook-ssi both share intimate moments, ever since the beginning of Paper Hearts, everyone's been wondering about your relationship status." Na Yeol laughed.
My eyes widened and I snap my head towards Jungkook whose face pinched together in a small frown. I gulped.
After a full minute of awkward silence, Jungkook crossed his arms and sighed. Again.
"No. It's all just onscreen acting, nothing more." He simply said.
I quickly nodded. "Those are just some of the things you just have to do when becoming an actor, everyone should know that."
Jungkook and I exchange brief eye contact before quickly looking away. Na Yeol nods and shuffles a stack of papers.
We continued the interview which dragged on for what felt like hours until we finally end at twelve forty-five.
"Thank you guys again! This was very fun. I wish you both good luck with the finale of Paper Hearts." Na Yeol smiled.
I bowed and smiled. "Thank you. See you again." I waved at the camera and exited the room.
