                                                                       Rhaine’s POV

I had just gotten home with Sophia after skateboarding most of the day, when my brother busted through my door. He got a disgusted look on his face as he looked around my room. “Ew.” He muttered.

“Um…ew what?” I asked wrinkling my nose at him. “Your walls are completely covered in posters of those British fags. And what is that? Do you really have a British flag in your room?” He asked shaking his head.

“Okay, first of all one of the “fags” is Irish. And second, yes it’s a Union Jack I also have an Irish flag on the back of my door. Did you come in here just to criticize my decorating?” I asked him crossing my arms.

“No. I was invited to a party and I thought that since I’m aloud to bring other people you and your friend could come too. I figured inviting you would be the more brotherly thing to do.” He said as he looked at the back of my door, and smirked.

“How much is mom paying you to invite me?” I asked cocking my head. “10 bucks.” He said as he turned. “Party starts at 7:00!” He hollered as he walked down the stairs. I looked at my phone screen, 5:48. “Well we should get ready.” Sophia said as she walked to my closet.

“I didn’t shower this morning so I’m gonna hop in now.” I said as I ran into my bathroom.

I got out and walked into my room wrapped in a towel. “What should I wear?” Sophia groaned while sitting inside my closet. I walked over and grabbed a very short and tight navy blue skirt and a white flowy, satin tank top. “How’s this look?” I asked holding them out to her.

“Ooh blue.” She said grinning. She grabbed a pair of blue pumps from my closet and changed her clothes. “What are you going to wear though?” She asked me after she’s finished checking herself out in the mirror. “Oh, don’t you worry about me.” I said.

I stepped inside my closet and looked around. “Shorts or skirt?” I asked. “Shorts.” Sophia replied.

                “Sneakers, combats, or heels?”

                “Sneakers.”

I walked out wearing high waist purple, acid-washed, studded shorts and a black lace swing crop top that showed of my dangly, anchor belly button ring. I slipped on my white converse and did my make-up. After that I blow dried and curled my hair, and then noticed that it was already 6:50. I checked myself in the mirror to make sure I looked okay.

In my town, no one ever dresses up for parties. We always dress normal and comfortably because everyone knows each other here. “Okay we should probably go. Zeke will be pissed if we make him late.” I said as I grabbed my phone and then ran out of my room.

By the time we had gotten down the stairs, Zekiah was outside honking. We rushed out the door jumped in his truck right as he was about to pull out of the driveway.  “So where is this party?” Sophia asked him. “I don’t know whose house it is, but it’s a party so we’re going.” He said laughing

Around five minutes later we pulled up in front of the house. Sophia and I were about to get out of the truck when Zeke stopped us. “Hey. Rules…you will not talk to me or my friends, if you drink do not drink a lot because we’re gonna need a D.D. to get us home, and lastly don’t smoke too much of the reefer. Okay?” He said smirking.
