Tawneys POV

I was walking out of my house when I saw a group of teenagers my age walk past , but they had all looked at me and smiled , except one of them . He was wearing a black jacket with a white shirt, combat boots , black hair with tips of rainbow , he was wearing multiple bracelets . I gripped my wrist from the pain my father had given me , the scars were covered up by my bracelets but I felt like everyone could see them .
I sighed and walked down the steps to the park , as I'm walking I'm listening to Twenty One pilots and BVB remix my sister had made with a cool app she had showed me . I felt a tug on my shirt but ignored it , i felt it again . I turned around to see the boy with his Friends , I gave them a weak smile and pulled out my earphones so they knew I were listening to them . "Hi !!!" One of the boys yelled at me making me almost drop my phone . "Er ... Uh H-hi" I responded back waving at him simply .
"I'm sky !!!!" He walked up to me and yanked my hand so he could shake it .
I looked at the boy cautiously , he had bright grey eyes , Blue hair , A yellow jacket with a BVB shirt on , and red skinny jeans . "My name is Tawney" I greeted to them . One of the guys just started laughing and swung his arm around me . "That's hilarious , but really what's your name ?" He asked laughing between his words . I could tell he was being serious , my name had always been a girly name and everyone didn't believe it was my real name . "It's Tawney ..." I responded back , my blood rushing to my face . It was pretty embarrassing but I think the guy took it more than I did . His face became bright pink and his eyes were wide . Sky just giggled at him , telling me who he was . The boy who has made fun of me without knowing it was named Sebastian , the boy who seemed like he wasn't happy to see me was josh but everyone calls him Joshie , even though he hates it . The boy with green hair who had a brother with black hair , we're twins , they were very funny and generous . "Well I would love to talk but I should be going " I insisted to them , but sky wanted to know more about me so I had to deal with him and josh , the only reason josh came is because sky begged him to .
I walked behind sky as he was basically running with excitement and so many questions . I looked over to josh , he seemed relieved but he had seemed there was something wrong . I began to search him , he was wearing oversized glasses , and his rainbow tips began to run against his glasses as he walked .
"I'm so happy !!! Wait where are we going anyways ?!" Sky asked with curiosity , he was basically on me , he had wrapped his arms around my side .
I didn't really like being hugged from people who I had just met , but it seemed like sky wouldn't give away a chance of a hug . "Just to the-" I was cut off as I heard someone Yelp . I looked over to see josh on the ground as sky was laying on him . "You were supposed to catch me Joshie !!!!!" Sky tugged at josh pouting . Josh had closed his eyes he was obviously annoyed with his friends behavior . I couldn't help but laugh . josh seemed to notice and shoved sky off of him and got up .

Josh's POV

After the embarrassing moment happened we finally arrived at the store . I decided to look around on my own for some alone time , I was walking till I got pushed into a wall .
I opened my eyes to see my older brother , he was obviously pissed off a little more than usual .
"What's wrong ?" I asked him slowly thinking of why he's mad at me .
"You that's what !!! Your so fucking horrible ... Your a disgrace to our family !! You like to hide in the shadows ... Why ?!?!!!" He yelled at me gripping my collar . "I Er ... I d-don't know ..." I answered back , my brother was always ashamed of me since he found out I hadn't liked girls . My mother and my father were ashamed of my sexuality and my brother just made it worse . He kneed me , letting go of my grasp making me fall to the ground . "I don't want to fucking see your face again !" He yelled at me , punching me in my jaw before storming off . Well that couldn't have been any randomer than it already was , I thought to myself .

I was a disgrace to my family , they never loved me after knowing my sexuality, my brother said it explained why I looked and dressed different from him .

I get pulled out of my thoughts as I see Tawney staring at me in disbelief . Then came running sky behind him , I didn't know how bad I looked till I saw there faces . I felt a blush appear on my face and my eyes widen , I didn't like attention . I touched my jaw where I got punched at , it was stinging by now . I started walking away like nothing happened but I could still feel there eyes on me . I was trying to avoid waking into my brother again , by now sky had shrugged it off and was somewhere goofing off in the store .
I had seen Tawney in the corner of my eyes stare at me , he was still in shock . But he looked like he understood .
