"Michael!" I call my best friend in the whole world while going down the stone staircase into the magician's library. "Michael darling!" I call one more time for the young magician, "Are you studying?" I ask as I walk through the arch entrance. I look around and found no one. The royal magician was entertaining my parents, the Queen and the Pharaoh so Michael should be here. I feel a chilling wind swipe behind my back, I turn around slowly and see a figure in a black cloak with a hood hiding the individual's face. I look down to their feet and see ashes in front of him or her. The unknown took a step forward into the ashes and just like that, their body became one with the ashes turning the ashes red. Within a few seconds, the ashes swirled upwards shaping into a human body. I knew it, could only have been the one and only Michael showing off his tricks. There stood a very happy Michael in his red vest jacket and and long pants. I laugh and clap "Excellent, excellent Michael," I praise.

"All for you princess," Michael replied. He bowed and came back up and made eye contact with me once again. Looking into his eyes, I smile, all I was thinking about was that I couldn't ask for a better best friend. My love her him was finally to overwhelming and I threw myself onto Michael hugging him. He laughed and hugged me back. We looked into each other's eyes once more and Michael rested his lips upon on mine and gave me a sweet kiss.

"I don't want this to ever end Cleo," Michael said.

"Neither do I magician," I say with my arms wrapped around Michael's neck.

As we were leaning in for one more kiss, "CLEO! You better not be in that lair!" I hear my angry father call.

"No Pharaoh!" I shout back. I try to run up the stairs as fast as I could but my father already made his way down. I froze when I saw his sandals slowly fell to my knees, "Oh Pharaoh, can you forgive me?" I beg.

"THAT'S IT! Magician!" My father called. The Magician poofed out of nowhere appearing right next to Pharaoh.

"Yes great and all powerful, you called?" The magician answered.

"GET OUT OF PALACE! AT ONCE! My daughter is forbidden to see your son or any remains of him!" I
He commanded.

"DADDY! NO!" I protest holding his ankles.

"Why shouldn't I?" He asked calmly.

"Because..." I look back down the stairs and see my magician observing in terror. I look back up to Pharaoh and spoke up, "Because... I LOVE HIM!"

"Oh is that so?" My father asked. I nodded in agreement, "Fine...kill him," he said.

Pharaoh started to walk back up the stairs and I held his cloths, "NO!!! Banish him! Do it! Banish him!" I plead with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Then it's settled, Magician, you are now banished from my palace and Egypt, be gone!" My father finalised.

"Yes Pharaoh," the royal magician said in a level of sadness, "It's time to leave Michael," he said.

"Yes father," Michael sulked. They both went down into the lair. I sit on the step crying like if I was being put to death.

This will be the last time I'll ever see my bestfriend and my first love.
