Chapter 9

Maci's  P.O.V.

   I walked inside the school and went to my first class. I sat down as Lucy walked in and sat beside me. 

“Where the hell have you been this morning?”

“With Stiles he was late this morning.”

“Well I could’ve used you guys I was sexually harassed by Alex until Derek showed up.”

“What happened Maci?”

   I told Lucy what happened and how Derek helped me and that he wouldn’t tell me why he was here. 

“I just don’t know Lucy. One minute I want to kiss Derek and then the next I want to stay away from him.”

“Are you saying you’re starting to like him Maci?”, she said scooting closer to me.

“I don’t think I would say that.”

“Well I think…”

“Hello class welcome to English!”, the teacher said.

Derek's P.O.V.

   I continued to watch Isaac through out the day. There was something about this kid something was wrong he seemed to mostly stay on his own. He was very quite and unfocused I noticed that when someone dropped a book he flinched and freaked out. I decided that I would follow him home and see how things where there. I went over to Maci’s car and put a note on it. The last bell rang and I followed the bus Isaac was on to his house so I knew where he lived. It wasn’t to far from my house so I drove home and listened to Isaac and his father talk.

“So Isaac how was today?”

“Good I think this year maybe a little hard but I think I will do fine.”, he said a shaky as his pulse rose.

“You better have perfect grades this year.”

“I know I’m gonna try my best.”

“Because you know I cant be having a sorry ass kid with lousy grades. You here me.”

“Yes.”

“Excuse me?”

“I mean yes sir. I’m sorry.”

“You better be damn sorry. We don’t want to take this downstairs do we Isaac?”, he said I heard him picking up something.

“I’m sorry please don’t.”, he said his pulse rising.
