Best Friends Forever......Right?

Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Good Bye California!!!  (Picture of Juliana on the side)

My name is Juliana Rosalina Cortez. But you can call me Julie. Right now as we speak I am packing my things and getting ready to head to SOUTH KOREA!!! Yea you heard right I'm going to the other side of the world, literally. I live here in the U.S., Los Angeles California to be exact. You are probably wondering why I would even leave the city where dreams happen.

Well I am leaving because my best friend is Jaejoong! Yes Jaejoong as in the famous and sexy singer/ actor/model has been living out there for five years. He decided to move because he wanted to peruse his dreams of becoming famous. I finally finished school at Julliard which is a school for the arts. I want to go to Korea because I want to either be a choreographer or a singing coach to k-pop groups and idols. Ok and to also be closer to Jae.

We have been friends since I was about five years old.  We were inseparable. In high school we were the "power couple" well that's what people said. We never dated but we acted like it. We always hug each other and he always would give me small kisses on my forehead and cheeks. We are super close.

I am in love with him always have been, but I'm pretty sure he sees me as a little sister. Which 

I  was okay with him seeing me has just a friend. Unfortunately as we got older it was getting harder to contain my feelings. Just thinking about seeing him scares me a bit since i haven't seen him in a while and we try to stay in contact but with work, school and life in general it's not the same as seeing him in person.

I head downstairs and towards my car. I put my entire luggage in the back seat. All of my home décor and other things are at my new apartment in Korea, I quickly put my seat belt on and headed towards Jaejoong parents house.

They wanted me to stop by and take some things to Jaejoong once I get to Korea. "Eomma, Appa, I'm here!"   "Omo Julia you look so beautiful!" Jae's mom said. "Kamsamnida! You look as lovely as ever umma."  I replied.  She gave me a long hug and she said "Please win over my sons heart, I want to have beautiful grandchildren." She let me go and I turned my face to the side so that she wouldn't see my red cheeks.

 She led me to the kitchen and she gave me some grapes.  "Where's Appa?" I asked. "He had to go to work today, he was extremely sad that he wouldn't be able to say goodbye to our future daughter in law." She said with a sly smirk. "Umma! Don't say that, a lot has happened over the years, and what if he has a girlfriend?" she sighed deeply and shook her head. "That boy has been in love with you, ever since he saw you playing on the swings in Kindergarten. He will never be with anybody else or love any other girl." I had a small  smile on my face, hearing this made me have a little hope that he did love me the way that I love him.

 I looked at my watch, I quickly got up and told her " Sorry umma I have to go! Its 5:20, my flight leaves at 5:40." "Omo! Here take this box with you. Be safe and be sure to call us when you arrive." She gave me a tight hug and I could feel my tears start to sting my eyes.

Ever since my parents died which has been 4 years already, Jae's parents have been there for me. They are basically my second parents. I love them very dearly and i'm a bit sad that I won't get to see them anymore.  I got in my car and drove to the airport. After putting my luggage on the plane I looked at my ticket and found my seat which was by the window.  I plugged in my earphones and I felt my eyes droop and I quickly entered a pure bliss of sleep.
