Lyra has finally turned 18 and was kicked out of her house by her parents. She had enough money to get an apartment, but she really wanted to live closer to Ponyville. And if she was to get an apartment, then she would have to go away from Ponyville.
Sunset was coming in less then an hour and Lyra had to find a place now. Lyra suddenly saw a guy with light yellow fur, brown eyes, black mane and tail. Lyra ran up to the pony to ask if he knew anyplace Lyra could stay overnight.
"Hey good Sir, do you know of anywhere in ponyville that I can stay? I just moved out of my house and need somewhere to stay," Lyra said. The pony replied, "sorry, I don't know of anywhere. I would help you find a place, but I'm busy." "Sorry," said Lyra.
Lyra walked away from the pony. She slowly watched the sun go down and sighed. "I don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe I can camp out in the forest," Lyra said to herself. Lyra walked into the forest and found a nice camping spot.
"This will work for tonight," said Lyra. Lyra lied down a blanket she had packed in her bag and wrapped herself in the blacket. She lied on the ground and went to sleep. Braxton was walking from the woods back to his house with his wife Isabella. They saw Lyra sleeping on the ground of the forest floor.
"Honey, do you think she's homeless?" Asked Isabella. Braxton replied, "let's just get out of here. There are a lot of scary ponies in the forest." Isabella gave Braxton a mean look and said, "you aren't just gonna leave her?" Braxton held his head high and said, "yes." Isabella poked Lyra to wake Her up. "Hello? Are you okay?" Lyra woke up and said, "yes, who are you?" Isabella replied
"I'm Isabella from the other side of ponyville." Lyra stood up and shook all the dirt off of her and said, "Do you know of anyplace I can stay? I really need to find a place, or I'll have to find a place somewhere else and I really like ponyville." Isabella suddenly came up with a idea.
"You can stay at my place. There is a lot of room," said Isabella. Lyra replied, "thankyou so much. I owe you one." Isabella looked at Lyra and smiled, "You don't owe me one. I just do this because I feel bad for those poor ponies who have no home. That's why I adopt ponies."
