It was raining heavily. My mother entered the room and greeted:

"Good morning, Ashy" I groaned and closed the eyes again, but she took of the blanket. "It's Monday, baby." she said sighing. "B-but it's raining!" I said and she shook her head. "Dress thick and take an umbrella with you. It will help." She replied and left the room. I sighed and went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I looked in the mirror and I thought "Another day when I'll be 'greeted' by Michael and his friends..." I sighed and brushed my hair with my hand and then I got dressed with my skinny jeans, a white tee and a jacket. I grabbed my bag and the umbrella my mom left on the table and went to school.

"Well, well, well, here's the fag!" Michael greeted as I walked in the school yard. Shit. "Go away, I don't need to see your shitface." I said pushing him and continued my way to the classroom. I felt him behind me and I started running but I didn't see the corner and bumped into the wall. "Nice move, Fletcher" he said laughing and he grabbed me by the jacket. I flinched at his touch. "Do what I want, or your family will be ruined, Irwin." He said staring in my eyes with evilness. I swallowed and nodded. My family is the most important thing in the world for me, they always protect me. I don't have any friends because Michael and Calum, who are the most popular, said I'm an idiot, a fag, they said many bad things about me and everybody hates me. Very nice. "Go to your classroom now, we'll meet later..." he said pushing me on the floor and leaving the hall. I shook my head in disbelief. How can be a person like an evil?

However, I entered the classroom and saw someone new. It was a tall, blonde guy, who was sitting on the chair next to me. Nice. I sat down and put my books on the table. He turned to me and greeted "Hi!" He had blue eyes like the ocean and a sweet shade of pink lips. He also had a lip piercing who was fitting his face in a cute way. I smiled and shook hands with him. "I guess you're new in here." I say and he nodded. "Yeah. I'm Luke, by the way." He said giggling. He's so, so cute. Until Michael changes his mind... "Oh, I'm Ashton. Nice to meet you!" Why am I blushing? Oh, maybe because it's the first person who I can talk in the whole school. The teacher walked in the room and everyone became silent. Oh, no, the tests. "I can see you are worried. Why?" Luke whispered in my ear. He tickled my ear with his word and I smiled a bit. "The teacher's going to show us the tests." "Oh, I understand."

"Ashton, darling, can you please give the papers to everyone?" I nodded and took the tests. I couldn't help but look at the percentages. And I was terrified. "Ew, no, I don't need a paper touched by you!" Calum shouted throwing the paper at me. He's such a diva, ugh. "Enjoy your 23%, Hood." I said putting his test in his bag and continued giving the other papers. I got a 97% and I'm really happy. "Wow, you're really good at French." Luke whispered again in my ear. "Are you fluent?" "Um, no." I replied blushing and tugging my shirt. Great, I'm so freaking shy. Maybe he will understand another thing. Gosh, I'm straight, I really don't know why all people say I'm gay.

"Silence!" the teacher shouted. "Je vous presente votre copain noveau. Il s'appele Luke." (A/N: I don't even know if I wrote correctly.) Luke rised from his seat. "Can I talk about myself in English?" He asked shyly. "Sure."

"Hello, everyone, I'm Luke Hemmings and I'm 17 years old. I moved to Sydney two days ago. It's really nice here! I love music, more rock or punk." He said and I sighed. "Alright, you can stay with Ashton!" The teacher said and I smiled showing my dimples. A blush coated his cheeks and sat down again next to me. "Oh, no, he will transform into Ashton!" Calum said in an annoying voice. I rolled my eyes and stayed calm.

Soon, the bell rang and I grabbed my books and headed to my locker. Luke's locker was next to mine and I was kinda happy. "Umh..." I heard a familiar voice humming. I shut my locker's door and I saw Luke. "Why are they hating you?" He asked with a little bit of sadness in his eyes. "I don't know... Maybe because I don't wanna be like them." I said and tried to leave, but he grabbed my arm. "I think you're cool." Luke said and I smiled sadly. "Thanks."
