Chapter Ten

Suhaila's POV

It was a big party. I didn't leave Zaydan's side because I didn't want to get lost in this huge crowd. I met with a lot of people, mostly Maawa's and Zaydan's friends. I was really thankful that Zaydan never left me alone.

"Suha I want you meet one my closet buddies David and David this my Fiance Suhaila." Zaydan introduced me to this guy next to him.
"It's a Pleasure meeting you David." I said extending my hand to shake with him.
"No pleasure is mine. Zaydan finally caught his beautiful gem isn't it?" David said.
"Yes and I am proud of that." Zaydan said.
"So when is your nikah?" David asks.
"On Wednesday." Zaydan answers.
"You one lucky man to get your hands on this gorgeous woman. I will see you tomorrow at work." David said.
The day flew really fast meeting all kinds of people I had a great time with Zaydan.

"Hey Zaydan shall we leave? Your sister Maawa is not feeling really well." Nabeeh said.
"Yeah sure. What's wrong with her?" Zaydan asked.
"I really don't know. She feel vomitish and she has a terrible headache." Nabeeh explained.
"Maaz drive Nabeeh's car and Taaib will go with me." Zaydan ordered.
"Yes Sir." Maaz said and left to help Nabeeh and Maawa.

"So Suha did you enjoy the party?" Zaydan asked.
"Oh yes I did enjoy the party." I answered with a smile.
"But you never left my side." He said.
"Oh it's because I hate getting lost in big places and plus a place that I barely know. Oh my where you uncomfortable that I was next to you in the whole party?" I asked.
"Oh no no no. I loved the sparks that I was getting. Oh I mean it was okay." He started blushing.
"Hahaha sparks." I laughed a little.

The ride was short but we arrived 15 minutes later. I rushed inside to check on Maawa. Thankfully she was doing well and she was fast asleep. I bid good night and left. When I got to my room Zaydan was waiting near my door.

"Is Maawa going good?" Zaydan asks.
"Yeah she ate something which lead to her vomitish. So no worries Nabeeh said. She is sleeping peacefully." I said.
"Okay then Good night." He said.
"Yup Good Night." I replied back.

Morning

"Wakey Wakey. Rise and shine little girl." Zaydan's mother said opening my curtains.
"Morning Mother Salma and mom. What's going on? You guys seem really happy." I said getting off from my bed.
"We are going for your Wedding Dress shopping." My mother shouted from excitement.
"Oh wedding dress." I whispered to myself.
"You don't seem excited honey." My mother said sitting next to me.
"Is everything okay dear?" Mother Salma asks.
"No I am. I'll get ready and meet you downstairs." I gave kiss on both of their cheek and hopped towards the bathroom. After taking a bath and everything I saw breakfast on my bed. I quickly gulped everything and got ready. When I exited my room I bumped into Maawa.
"Suha!! Are you ready for your shopping? You know this week is going to most amazing and at the same time most tiring week. Day after tomorrow is your Nikah and the following day your wedding party." Maawa said everything in one breathe. I just smiled and gave a nod.
"What's wrong?" Maawa asks.
"Its nothing." I simply said.
"No something tell me." Maawa demanded.
"Everything is going super-fast and I will be married to your brother day after tomorrow. I don't even know what's his favorite food or colour. Honestly, I am scared Maawa." I said.
"Listen to me Suha. I know how scared you are right now. I was in the same situation that you are in right now months ago. But I promise you everything will go fine and also Zaydan asked me to tell you that he would like to take you out for dinner tonight." she said.

"Maawa, Suha what's taking you so long? We don't have enough time for everything. Hurry up." Mother Salma shouted.
Maawa and I ran downstairs quickly. We all hoped into the car and we all drove off first to get the dress that I will wear on my nikah day. When we pulled off in front on fancy store I saw my two best friends waiting for me.
"Hey Yumnah, Malaeka what are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"Your mother invited us." Yumnah said.
"You don't want your friends to help out choosing the right dress?" My mother asks
"No. I'm surprised that's all. Of course I would want them to be here." I said.

When we entered the store there were so many beautiful dresses. Everyone ran to different aisles to choose nice dresses. However, I was strolling around the place without choosing one. The next thing I remember was everyone came with at least 10 dresses in each hand.
"You want me to try them all." I asked in surprise and they gave nod.
It was my 10th dress and everyone said it's beautiful. "Well you are not helping me. You all have been saying the same thing to all the dress I have worn, beautiful." I complained.
"Well wear them all then we will know what choose." Maawa said.

"Excuse miss, Can I help you choosing the dresses?" A sales assistant came to aid us.
"Yes. What's your name?" I asked her.
"Naaifa." She said. "What sort are you looking for?"
"Hi Naaifa. I want something simple with a big skirt but not that big." I said.
"I got the right one for you. Just a moment I will bring it here." she left to get the dress.
"Well let's wait and see what kind of dress that would be. After this then we have to go 2nd floor for your wedding Dress selection." Mother Salma said.

She brought a nice peach long dress with laced sleeves. I fell in love with the dress. I tried the dress on and it fits perfectly. "Oh thank you Naaifa its perfect. Guys I found the perfect dress for my nikah." I said happily.
"It does look beautiful." Maawa said and other gave a nod in agreement.
"This dress will be a perfect match to the new shoes that you bought that day right?" My mother asks.
"Yes it will and even the jewelries." I said.
"Then let's go to the Wedding section now." Mother Salma said.
"Naaifa keep this dress we will purchase it with my wedding dress and why don't come with us to help to choose my wedding dress too." I asked her.
"Sure no problem madam." She said.

Again everyone ran to different aisle to get different dresses. I stick with Naaifa so I could choose what I want.
"What kind of dress are you looking for?" Naaifa asks
"The same but simple with a big big skirt." I said. She laughed to the way I told her big. Let's say I said like how the kids explains to big things.
Naaifa brought me a nice laced long sleeves and with a big skirt. I didn't even bother calling others, I rushed into the fitting room with Naaifa to try on the dress. It looks beautiful on me. I called everyone to show them the dress and everyone was in awe. This wasn't that difficult at all.

"I'll go and pay for the dress okay. Then we will go to get our dresses to both function." Mother Salma said.
"Let me go and pay for the dresses." I said.
"No I will. Zaydan's father said to do so and I want to pay it for your dress okay." Mother Salma said.
We got the dress to be delivered by tonight to our house and we left to a different store to find clothes for others.
The whole day flew finding dresses and accessories for everything. When we got home it was around six.
"So have you all got things you want?" Nana asked. "Because I know I got everything I want." she said laughing.
"Yes mother indeed we did." Mother Salma said.
"Nana, Mother, Mother Salma I'm gonna excuse myself I have somewhere to go with Zaydan so I am going to freshen up." I said.
"Yes darling go on." Nana said.

"What did you guys do all day?" Zaydan asked popping out of nowhere.
"Dress shopping whole day." I said frowning a little.
"What about your prayers and food?" He asks.
"We went to mosque to do our prayers and we went to a lovely restaurant to have our lunch." I said.
"You sound tired. If you are tired we could have our dinner to some other day." He said.
"No tomorrow is going to be worse. I don't know buying furniture and other stuffs and I heard you will be coming too." I said.
"Ohh yes I would be going with you guys. So I will come and get you at 8:30?" Zaydan said.
"Yes that would be lovely." I said and disappeared into my room.
