Lucy Potter and the love that shouldn't be

Buckbeak

We were walking down to Hagrid's cabin, Hermoine and Ron was discussing the Diviation class.
I turned towards them -You got to open your mind, find your inner eye to see the future!- i mimicked Proffesor Trelawney, Hermoine burst out laughing at my horrible imitation. Harry slapped my arm playfully -You are a horrible imitator.- he chuckled, i smirked -Ok, then who's this.- i cleared my throat -Wait until my father hears about this!- i didn't see where i was going as i bunped into someone, not anyone, but the one i imitated.

Malfoy.

I looked up and saw him giving me a perplexed look, his grey eyes staring deep into my green ones. Harry grabbed my arm hurriedly and dragged me away from him, giving him a death glare. Ron and Hermoine followed us as we jogged towards the cabin, I looked over my shoulder and saw Draco smirking at me, what's up with him?

Hagrid greeted us -Hi there, whatcha doin here so late?- he asked with his head cocked to the side -We wanted to make sure we got here on time.- i said with a big childish smile. It didn't take to long before the rest of the students came, they all gathered around Hagrid's front door -Come closer! less talking back there. I have something special for you, so follow me.- he said and started to walk into the forest.
I tugged at Harry's sleeve -Why are we always going into the Forbidden forest with Hagrid?- he shrugged -Coincidence?- he guessed.
I hummed -Seems a little wierd though.-
We made it to an opening in the woods, the sun shone throught the leaf filled branches making patterns on the ground. Hagrid turned towards us -Ok folks, line up over there and open your books on page fourty nine.- i looked down at the hairy book.
How am i.........
-And how are we supposed to do that?- Draco asked rudely. Hagrid turned around -You stroke his back of course, jeeze.- he said as he walked away. I chuckled -So we had to stroke it, who would've guessed that.- i mumbled to myself and sat down on a large stone beside Hermoine. She placed her book beside me -I think they're funny.- she said and smiled at me. I was about to answere when the white haired idiot decided to open his big mouth -Oh yeah, really funny. The school's going straight to hell. Just wait until my father hears about Dumbledore letting that idiot be a teacher.- he shouted to us.

I glared at him -Shut up Malfoy.- i growled. He smirked and walked slowly towards me, he then stopped and pointed at the sky behind me -It's a dementor!- everyone gasped and looked. I rolled my eyes as i jumped down from the stone and glared up at him, he and his friends had pulled their hoods up -Booooo.- they said in a ghostly tone. I growled and raised my fist, but Harry dragged me away before i could punch him.
I looked up at Harry -Oh please let me kill him, i won't ask again just let me kill him.- i begged. He chuckled -Nope, you don't want to be sendt to Azkaban and join Black do you?- he raised an eyebrow questiongly. I shrugged -To put an end to the Malfoy's? Hell yeah i would, and maybe Black is a nice guy.- i chuckled. He rolled his eyes and let go of me -You're mental.- he mumbeled to himself.

-Tadaa! Isn't he beautiful, say Hello to Buckbeak.- Hagrid announced happily. I looked over at him and saw this marvelous creature, the animal was gorgeus, tall and grey. It had an eagle like head, but the body of a horse, and the legs of a birdlike creature -Hagrid, what is that?- Ron asked horrified. Hagrid smiled at the question -This Ronny, is a Hippogriff. The thing about Hippogriffs is that the are proud creatures, very easy to offend. And to offend an Hippogriff, may be the last thing you do. Now, anyone wanna say hello?- he clapped his hands and turned towards Buckbeak.

I smirked to myself and took a step back, so did everyone else. The only one who was left standing was -Harry! That's good.- yeah him. He stood there like the dumbfouned idiot that he is and looked around, Ron nudged him forward. Harry walked slowly towards Hagrid, he would cast a worried glance towards me every now and then. I chuckled and gave him a thumbs up, he glared at me and continiued to walk. I leant my shoulder against the tree beside me, this will get interesting.

Harry bowed deeply infront of the birdlike creature, Buckbeak screeched and snapped it's beak at him. I gasped and took a step forward in case something happened to Harry, we can't have him die on me can we. It didn't take long before Harry could pet the beast, lucky bastard. Hagrid smiled at him -Now you can ride him!- he exclaimed excitedly. Harry's eyes widened -What?- he said shocked. Hagrid lifted him up and placed him onto Buckbeak's back -Don't pull out his feathers, he doesn't like that.- he laughted and gave the beast a smack on the rare end. Buckbeak let out a wierd screach as he took of flying into the sky. My eyes widened -Wow.- i gasped in shock. They soared through the sky for a couple of minuets before they came back down.

Everyone appalauded, including me -Well done Harry!- i shouted. He sent me a wide grin and talked to Hagrid. I heard someone scoff behind me -I could do that.- he grumbeled and bumped into my shoulder as he walked past me. I glared at the person, the white hair belonged to the one and only Draco. He walked towards Buckbeak proudly -Yeah you're not dangerous at all are you, you ugly bird beast.- he snapped at the creature. Hagrid turned towards Draco -Malfoy.- Buckbeak screached and clawed Draco's arm, he fell to the ground holding his arm. It was complete chaos, all the students were screaming.

Draco rolled around on the ground -It killed me, it killed me!- he whined childishly. Hagrid stuttered -It's just a scratch.- Hermione ran towards Hagrid -Hagrid, he has to be taken to the hospitale.- she said hurriedly. He nodded quickly -Emm, i'm the teacher i'll do it.- he lifted Draco up in his arms and started to walk towards the school -You're gonna regret this.- Draco groaned. Hagrid huffed annoyed -Class dismissed.- he shouted to the rest of us. -You and your bloody chicken.- i heard Draco groan dramaticly. I chuckled and walked towards Harry, Ron and Hermione -Did you guys hear his high pitched moans?- Ron burst out laughing -Who didn't?-

*Time Skip*

-Ok, you ready Lucy?- Fred whispered
-As ready as I'll ever be.- i chuckled. George had finished hooking up the last wires for our little "suprise", and hopefully this will all go to plan. We hid behind the wardrobe in the classroom, as we waited for Lupin to return to his office.
Minutes felt like hours as we were staring at the closed door, i looked up at George -Are you sure he'll come?- they both looked down at me with a grin on their face
-We've been spying on him.-
-Since he came here.-
I chuckled at their synchronisation -Ok, ok, ok, I trust you guys.- that's when we heard footsteps coming our way -Here he comes.- Fred whispered.
The door creaked open, but to our surprise it wasn't Lupin.
-Oh no.- we all gasped.
The heavy steps, belonged to non other than Professor Snape. He hurriedly made his way up to Lupin's office, but as he closed the door a large bang went off, and smoke started seeping through the bottom of the door.
-I think we should run.-
The twins nodded -Agreed. Run!-
We bolted for the hallway door, just as we heard Snape shouting profanities inside the office. We ran towards the common room, but as we rounded the corner we were met by a very shocked Lupin -Woah woah woah! What's the rush?- his face full of concern. We were all panting and couldt really speak

-Pranked.-
-Snape!-
Lupin's eyes lit up -Oh really?- he paused -and what are your names?- my shoulders fell, we're gonna get detention for this.
-Lucy Potter.- i muttered, the twins sighed
-I'm Fred.-
-And I'm George.-
Lupin chuckled -My, my, I have heard of you two.- he paused and looked at me -But i didn't know you were participating Potter.- i smiled sheepishly and scratched my neck -Sorry, Professor.- he cuckled and shook his head -I suggest you all get back to your common room before...-
-Weasley!-
We all spun around at the sound of a very pissed off Snape, his black robe full of neon coloured paint splatters. His greasy hair, now standing straight up. Non of us could keep a straight face as he walked closer to us, but Lupin laughed the hardest -Oh Evening Professor, i must say that new robe looks rather flashy on you.- Snape glared at Lupin -Evening Professor, may i borrow this trio for a moment.- George and Fred held my hands as Snape glared at us witha glenched jaw. Lupin shook his head -Im afraid not Severus, you see, I've asked them to go back to their common room. And as you can see Severus, it's night, I'm sure it can wait until tomorrow.- Lupin smiled at us and nodded towards the hallway.-We didn't think twice -Goodniggt Professor.- we said in sync as we hurried towards our common room.
Once we got inside we all made a sigh of relief -That, was, awesome!- Fred chuckled. George and i laughed -Lupin saved our asses back there tho, so we owe him big time.- Fred nodded -I guess you're right.-
