The Beginning Of Us

Chapter 1

I was in my mom room while she was lying on the bed. I was sitting on the bed across from her crying my eyes out because she was......... in pain and I hate to see her in pain. I walked out the room and into the kitchen to fix her some ice tea and chicken noodle soup. I lived in a big house so it takes me some time to get around really fast. I put the tea and soup on her stand and went over to her to sit her up but then I realized she wasn't breathing I started to panic. I ran downstairs to the phone and called 911.

"911 what's your emergency? " said the lady

" my mom....... my mom she's not breathing!" I shouted

" OK miss calm down where's your location?"

" um it's 981 ridgewood rd." I said

"OK miss we are on our way." the lady said

I dropped the phone and ran up to my mom who was probably going to die. I ran by her side and I held her hands.

" please mom don't give up on me please. I love you so much." I cried

nexthey thing I knew I heard a burst through the front door and it scared me half to death. I heard people running up the stairs and I knew it was the ambulance. they came up to the room and told me to stand back while they put my mom on the bed thing and moved her out to the ambulance truck. I started sobbing and ran after them to be with my mom when someone was holding me back.

" No let go of me!!" I shouted

" crystal crystal calm down honey." said a lady.

After about 10 seconds of yelling and screaming I finally settled down a bit. the lady explained who she was and and she was the officer I called she said her name is officer gabby but I didn't care on bit. she told me I have to get into the car so she can drive me to the hospital but I didn't want to go anywhere with them.

"no I have a car that I can drive myself to the hospital with.l I said angrily

" ma'am. it's safer that you come with us cause I can tell you have a lot on your mind and if you drive you can get into and accident. " she explained.

after I thought about it for a while I gave up.

"OK fine." I said

she came over to me and tried to direct me to the flashing police car. I felt like I was going to jail.

"I know where the car is and don't touch me." I said.

she held her hands up in respect. I got in the car before everybody else. when we all got in the car we drove off to the hospital but all I could think about is my mom and what's going to happen. I remember all the times me and mom spent together. like how we went to the zoo one time and she got sprayed by the elephant. haha it was too funny. everywhere we went together people would come up to us and say is this your beautiful daughter? and we would say yes at the same time. and they would say we look just alike. I saw how we both look alike. like I have her naturally curly hair breakthrough the end, and her curves, and skin tone but she says I got my hazel eyes from my dad who I obviously never met. they divorced before I was born. I was remembering everything my mom and I did together. as the memories flooded back I started crying my eyes out then then that's when I got a tap on my shoulder. it was officer gabby and we was at the hospital. I guess I was thinking so much that I didn't realize we made it here. I rushed out the car and ran to all the rooms until I found the room she was in. she was in the surgery room so I burst in and screamed her name to the top of my lungs and started crying like crazy. the gaurds came and held me back but I didn't care I just want my mom back. after 20 minutes have gone I calmed down and stormed to the lunchroom. I sat in one of the chairs in the corner and I put my head down on my arms and started crying. that's when I heard footsteps coming my way so I looked up and saw officer gabby coming my way. she came and sat across from me.

" hey how are you feeling? are you OK?" she asked

I couldn't believe she was asking me those questions.

" well let me think my mom is in the surgery room and might be dieing , and I'm in the lunchroom crying. so I'm going to let you answer those questions." I said sarcastically

"yea that was stupid but uh I have news for you crystal. " she said

" is it my mom!? is she OK? will she live?" I asked

I looked at her and I could tell it wasn't good news.

" it's not good news is it?" I said

" crystal...... your mom.......she didn't make it through." she said

when I heard those words those words hunted me and I felt my whole world crashing down on me. my mom was the only person I got now I have nobody. I started crying. I got up from the table and felt my knees giving out. I reached the hallway and then I fell flat on the floor. I heard something shouting behind me but it was blocked out. I started screaming my mom's name from the top my lungs. I felt dizziness come upon me and before I knew it I was knocked out.
