New Life

MIKASA'S P.O.V
I woke up due to the noisy alarm that has been buzzing early in the morning. I had to wake up since I knew it was my first day of school. I'm gonna be making new friends and it's also basically a new life. It's really different compared to a few years back then. I swung my hand to hit the alarm so that it stops to buzz. I woke up to get ready for school and eat breakfast. After wearing my clothes, I put on my red scarf that my childhood friend gave it to me 5 years ago and his name was Eren. After finishing breakfast, I was at the doorstep ready to go and I was about to say a quick goodbye to my parents. I was on my way to school, until a figure with a pair of green eyes were looking at me. I looked to see that the figure was actually Eren !

Eren came running to me and yelled " MIKASA ! MIKASA ?! IS THAT YOU ?! " I quickly ran to him to give him a big hug for not seeing each other for a very long time. I could see a hint of pink on his cheeks. He started to ask after letting go the hug " Hey, how are you ? How's life in Stohess ?"
I felt a bit sad when I heard a few questions about how my life was back then. It was terrifying.
I buried half of my face in the red scarf letting out a long silence between us on the way to school.
Eren understood why I didn't answer his question.
His face frowned a little and continued to smile again.

He spoke softly " Oh. I'm sorry, I-i.. Didn't mean to ask you those things. You don't have to answer Mikasa. " I just couldn't tell him. My life was horrible there. The people especially. I was bullied. But I didn't really care actually. I was teased by those cruel people. Every day I had to face those people. I was actually strong to protect myself, but I didn't bother to fight back.

I finally let out a sigh and without hesitation, I asked him " Are you going to Sina High ? " Eren quickly replied " Yes ! You too ? Great, I could show you around.. " he had a really big smile plastered on his face. I couldn't help but to say that damn, I miss this kid so much.

We finally arrived at the Sina High, where my new life is starting. Eren quickly grabbed my wrist and pulled me to bring me to introduced myself towards his friends. I don't actually know whether they're nice or not, but I do hope so. We soon met a bunch of teens sitting on a big round table. This might be the cafeteria. I kept quiet not knowing what I should do. Suddenly, their eyes were all on me, they were like scanning me from the top to the bottom. There was this guy who looks more like a Horseface smirking at me, but I ignored. Eren introduced me towards his friends " Hey guys, sorry I'm late. This is Mikasa, my childhood friend."

A girl with a ponytail that's actually holding a potato came forward to me and greeted me saying " HEYYA ! You must be a new student right ? Haven't see you around. I'm Sasha by the way oo and I like POTATOES " she squealed at the last part. There was a short girl with blonde hair came to me and said " Hello there ! My name is Christa. I'm glad to have a new friend joining us ! " Christa smiled sweetly at me. A cute blonde boy came to me and introduced himself and the rest of his friends " Hi there, my name is Armin. That's Connie, Reiner, Berthold, Jean and lastly Marco ! " he smiled widely towards me. I waved to all of them timidly.

We went to our classes. I'm glad to have classes with Eren. After those boring classes were over, it was break time. Me and Eren stood up quickly and ran to the cafeteria to meet up with other people. We were sitting with the squad I guess you could say. I felt comfortable a little. I told them I wanted to get fresh air for a while, I went outside but then a figure bumped onto me.

I couldn't open my eyes. Shit. I could feel a groaned from the figure. The figure stands up and brushed off invisible dusts on his shoulder. I heard the figure said " Tch, oi.. Watch your way brat ! " I flutter my eyes open to see a short man with his glare to me. I was helped by someone to stand up and it was Eren. Eren quickly apologized to him and told him that I was a new student. That short midget didn't even bother to say sorry back instead " I don't care. Next time, I'll beat your shitty ass brat. Tch. " he began to walk away.. I was boiled with anger but confused and mumbled " Short fucking midget you're gonna get from me. "
