We walked into Carl's house and there was a group of about 15. "Hey guys this is Shayla. Shayla, this is Maggie, Glenn, Abraham, Rosita, Tara, Michonne, Carol, Jessie, Deanna, Ron, Enid, Sam, Daryl, and there's also Rick and Eugene but you've already met them. That's about it." he finished. (Authors note: I know Enid, Jessie, Ron, Sam, and Deanna don't live with them.) Daryl. That name sounds familiar. Daryl was turned around cleaning his crossbow. Wait, crossbow I have one too. "Dad?" Daryl turned around, finally to look at me. I started crying and ran over to him. Oh my god my dad is alive and is in this group. I couldn't be happier right now. "Shayla your alive." I could tell he was crying. "'Dad'?" Carl along with everyone else asked in unison. "You guys know how I was talking about how my wife died and I couldn't stand it and I just left my daughter? And how I was going to try to find her but never did? Well this is her." He turned to look at me, "Shayla sweetie I'm so sorry I left you I couldn't take it after your mom died." "I know dad but let's not think about that. We found each other this is a good time." Rick then walked in and saw me and Daryl hugging and cleared his throat so we knew he was there. "Rick," dad started, "Shayla is my daughter. I told you I left her after her mom died. Well she found me." "Then I guess I should ask you, instead of her, if it's okay if she and Carl share a room?" I blushed and my dad nodded his head yes. I looked at Carl and he was blushing too. 'Why would he blush?' I thought. "Come on Shayla. Carl will show you his room so you can put that bag down up there and I'll have Enid get you some clothes so you can shower and change." I'm really going to like it here.
