Mark moved forward slightly, holding his right hand with his left and rubbing it gently. "You, my friend, have quite the grip." He walked closer and hesitated a moment before showing her his hand and laughing lightly.

"Oh, gosh." Jamie ran her fingertips over the small crescent shaped indentions on his hand which, despite having faded some, were still clearly visible. "I'm so sorry. I really didn't-"

"No, no, it's fine." Mark put his hand behind his back and sat down next to Jamie on her bed. "You didn't seem very nervous at all in the car."

"And your hand suffered the consequences." Jamie groaned theatrically before falling backwards and putting her hands over her face.

"Don't make me regret coming in here to offer you the first post airport shower." Mark leaned down next to her, bracing himself on his arm and laughing louder than before when Jamie spread her fingers just wide enough to jokingly narrow her eyes at him. "I smell like processed bananas and daycare disinfectant spray."

Jamie laughed, loud and true, before removing her hands from her face and turning to face Mark. "That is the single most accurate description of airport scent that I have ever heard."

"Yeah, well, go. You won't be much better off, you know. Someone is going to be stuck smelling like dude until we get their basic shopping done." Mark tried to push a reluctant Jamie off of the bed and towards the door, laughter from both of them permeating the air as he did so. "Now go; shoo. Towels are under the sink and my stuff is - ironically - on the top shelf in the shower."

"I'll try to be fast." Jamie dragged herself toward the door and looked out into the hall, quickly, to see if she could locate the bathroom.

"Don't worry about it. I'll just record a video while I smell like daycare bananas." Mark stood and moved next to Jamie, gently pushing her to the right when he went to the left, toward the office where he was planning to confuse and terrify both him and his viewers with more Fran Bow.

Mark waited until he heard the shower start to run and began recording the episode. Roughly half an hour later, the shower abruptly shut off and he found himself to be in as good of a stopping point as any and did his outro, finding himself somewhat excited to see Jamie out of airport clothes. He took his time closing out of everything, making sure it was adequately saved and the mic was actually turned off, for once. His walk down the hall was less walking and more meandering, giving her plenty of time to have some semblance of order in regards to her appearance.

He knocked, four times, in a semi rhythmic fashion. Jamie rushed to pull on her sweater and accidentally hit her head on the doorframe when she finally opened the door. There was a short and quickly rethought moment where Jamie considered playing it cool and went to run a hand through her hair. Or cross her arms over her chest. Or just let them sit by her sides. That's better.

Mark didn't say anything at first; he was looking over her outfit and wondering how she could look so graceful and be so clumsy. A dark blue sweater had been paired with a matching pair of plaid shorts and he was rather caught up in what an unconventional match it was for a moment. He decided that he liked it, although it may have just been that she was the one wearing it.

"Hey." Jamie was somewhat breathless and her faint smile was taken over by somewhat tense laughter as she played with the sleeves of her sweater and pulled them over her hands.

"Hey." Mark laughed a bit at her anxious demeanor before leaning against the door frame and casually bending down a few inches so that it was harder for her to avoid eye contact with him. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out and do anything to celebrate your move to the big city. Later, of course."
