Grayson POV:

I woke up on the floor and my back hurt like shit. Oh yea I remember I got beat. I forgot to tell you my dad is always drunk. I got up when to the bathroom to change my shirt and I had bruises all over my body.

Last night when Jasmine was tutoring me I went downstairs to get a snack. My dad came up to me and slapped me. I yelled at him what's his problem. He threw his drink and jumped me. He yell don't bring a girl over or something like that.

Anyways I have school today. Yay. I changed did my hair brushed my teeth and put on my shoes grabbed my book bag and headed out the door.

Jasmine POV:

I walked to my locker. Still thinking about Grayson. Before I closed my locker someone closed it but it smashed my fingers.

"OowwwwFuck. " I yelled.

"Hey dipshit. What happened last night you will never speak of or else. " Ethan said.

Then he pushed me down and walked away.

The bell rung I'm sat up holding my fingers. I was about to go to the office when some stood in front of me with there hand out. Grayson! I jumped up and hugged him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Oh you saw" he said putting his head down.

"Yes and I'm sorry are you ok. " I asked again.

" yea " he said holding my hand.

"Come on let's go to class. " added

Then we started walking.
