It was January 15th and my BestFriend Dani and I were headed to my mums house for Our friend TJ's 21st birthday party.
I got dressed in my black tights and flowy grey tank top and zipped my black heeled boots and scooped Chunky~Monkey my Chihuahua puppy in my arms as we headed out the door.

It was a quick 10minute walk around the block when we finally arrived.
My dad opened the door and we slipped upstairs where everyone is.
"Hey guys" TJ said as we found our spots and sat down. There was a cute guy at the other side of the room but I couldn't find it in myself to ask who he was.
"This is Jake by the way, Jake this is Candice and Dani" TJ announced as if he'd read my mind. I smiled and muttered a nervous hi before continuing my conversation with my sister in law Steph.
After we hung out for a couple hours My brother Dominic headed downstairs than called Dani and I down after him. We engaged in a few games of tic-tac-toe shots. Soon after my older brother Dougie came downstairs.
"Hey can I borrow your phone? Mines charging" he asked grabbing my phone. "Why? What do you need it for?" I asked in response. "I'm looking up the rules for beer pong" he replied typing away on my phone. After a few minutes Dani and I finished our game of tic-tac-toe. Dougie ran upstairs only to return moments later with everyone, Dominic Grabbing a fold up table carrying it to the kitchen.
"LETS PLAY SOME WATER PONG!!!" Doug exclaimed walking to the kitchen.
"What's water pong?" We all asked in unison.
"Beer pong but we're filling the cups with water rather than beer because who wants a dirty ping pong ball in their beer, and we just take shots for every time you get the ball in the cup" Mikey explained as the boys got the game set up.

Dani and I watched as the first game went on, many laughs and bursts of "OOOHS" and "AAAHHHHHHHS" erupted through the house, finally it was my turn, after being reunited with the rules I standed at the end of the table, eye to eye..to eye to eye with TJ and Jake. The boys nodded their heads in assurance for me to throw the first ball.
Beginners luck certainly did not exist for myself and Dani that night.
While the others retreated back upstairs Dougie and David staying to watch the game.
"I've never seen my baby sister take back shots like a boss like this!" Doug exclaimed as I took back shots. Rolling my eyes I returned to the game, Chunky~Monkey was continuously chasing and picking up the ping-pong ball as it hit the floor.
We were each down to one cup and I took the final shot for our team and the ball spun around the rim of the cup and popped back out rolling off the table.
"OH COME ON!!!!!!!" We all shouted in shame.
Jake made the final toss of the ball landing it perfectly in the cup.
I took my final shot and announced I was heading home.
I stumbled back upstairs to Dominic and Doug.
"Eh bros which of yous is walking meh home?" I asked.
It's was our parents one rule if I drank someone had to walk me home. Yes my parents let us throw a party they're just that awesome.
"I'll take you" Dominic assured standing up to get ready. Jake, And Mikey decided to tag along which landed in me spending the entire walk flirting with Jake.
"Dominic your friends cute!" I shouted as we walked down the street.
"Shut up Candice your drunk and don't know what you're saying!" Dominic replied trying to hush me.
"Yeah but he's cute!" I whined.
"Shut up and hold my hand I'm not letting you stumble into traffic" Dominic announced grabbing my hand.
"Why can't I hold jakes hand? Can I kiss Jake? Come on Dominic let your sister be happy for once!" It continued until we got home.
"Get to bed Candice!" My aunt announced as she came out of her room, I lived with our great-aunt.
"Okay, come on Jake!" I shouted heading towards the stairs.
"NOOOO! No no no! The only one going upstairs with you is Dominic!!" Everyone shouted. After what felt like hours I finally fell asleep.
