Apologies

I woke up at 7 the next morning. I quietly walked down the stairs before the dogs started barking.
"Come on!! I live here!!" I shouted in annoyance to the barking dogs.
I headed into the living room and sat on the couch.
I logged into my Facebook and looked up Jake.
-I Am so sorry about last night🙈
I messaged him and watched tv waiting for a reply.

C-lol I hope there's no raging girlfriends I have to worry about😎
J-no, but if you want to we could maybe hang out later today😉
C-well, I'm still hungover but maybe later 😊

I went into the kitchen and made some toast than went back and layed on the couch watching tv. After a few hours the queasiness in my stomach went away so I messaged Jake.
C- still down to chill?😎
J-of course, want to meet at the park across from TJ's?
C-sure sounds good be there in 5😉
I ran upstairs and got dressed and threw my brown messy curly hair into a fresh bun. Threw my shoes and coat on and headed out the door. I seen Jake walking across the park from a distance. I smiled nervously as I headed towards him.
"You know I heard coffee does good for a hangover, want to go to Timmies?" He asked with a smile as he pulled away from a hug.
"Sure, I could definitely use a coffee right now." I laughed as we headed through the park.
We made our way down the busy Main Street of the small city and quickly arrived at the Tim Hortons. As we reached the front of the line my aunt came up.
"Hey kiddo what can I get ya?" She asked beaming a smile across her face.
"Hey aunt Bonnie, I'll get 2 extra large Double-Doubles" I ordered smiling up at Jake.
My aunt returned quickly with the coffees.
"Whose the boy?" She asked as Jake walked over to a small table with the coffees.
"A friend....for now" I replied with a wink before heading towards the table where Jake was sitting.
We sat and spoke for hours before deciding to walk around town, Jake threw his coffee cup in the garbage as I grabbed mine and headed to the door.
I continued to drink the coffee as we walked around town talking about random things.
"would you ever...consider dating me? I mean yeah sure you said I was cute and stuff but you were drunk and I didn't actually know if you mean it" he asked stopping in the sidewalk.
"I would love to, but you would have to deal with Dominic and TJ." I replied taking a sip of my now cold coffee.
Jake pulled his phone out and called TJ.
"Hello?" TJ answered his phone.
"Hey TJ it's Jake is Dom with you?"
"Yeah one sec...DOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!"
"What the fuck!" Dominic yelled as he reached TJ.
"Jake wants you." TJ replied.
"I want both of you I gotta ask you something important" Jake replied as he put the phone on speaker.
I finished my coffee and threw out the cup.
"Whataya want!" Dominic responded.
"Candice" was all Jake said, looking at me with a smile.
"We already said yes, why don't you just ask her out" TJ replied sounding annoyed.
"She just needed confirmation from you guys but thanks bye" Jake said as he hung up the phone.
"Well? Now what do you say?" Jake asked looking down at me. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He continued.
I looked up at him with a smile.
"Of course!" I replied as he gave me a hug.
