As Kono and Chin talked to Grover's wife and son, Steve and Danny drove back to the Five-0 headquarters and tried to track his cell. He was in the building. Danny walked to his office and found his phone and gun on the floor. Behind the desk there was a body. But it wasn't Grover. Danny called for Steve. It was a tall, thin man wearing dark clothes and a black ski mask. While Danny ran him through facial recognition, Steve noticed something. There had clearly been a struggle in the office, and under the desk he found an identical black ski mask.
"Hey Danny," Steve called. Danny walked into the room. "I'm thinking that this guy had a partner who took Lou." Steve said.
"I didn't get anything on facial rec. I don't know why they wanted Grover, but this guy paid with his life to get him." Danny replied sighing. Steve handed Danny the unknown partner's ski mask.
"Take this down to the crime lab and try to pull some DNA off of it," He said. "I'll call Chin, and see how it's going with Lou's family, see if they know this guy."
