Everyone should now that in a story there's always the one called Main character and his friend since childhood (the co-protagonist). What our project means to do is protect the job or rol of those characters that help the main get through the hard times and achieve their mission.
Here we want give recognition to the friend that followed the main along the story, that sacrifices for him/her or helps them through their mission.
You must know lots of examples, those ones we love and were loyal partners to the main character. This doesn't mean we should give them the spotlight at all, but sometimes we forget about them or simply not love them enough. Here are some examples, like J.K Rowling: Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, they were always loyal to Harry Potter, they were always there for him. Every decision, every fight.
Another example is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Katniss Everdeen and her friend Gale. After the death of Katniss' father she meet Gale and he was her friend before and during the whole journey.
Another example is The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, with the protagonist Cassiopeia Sullivan and Evan Walker, who rescued her and helped her in the search of her little brother Sammy. And eventually they fall in love.
Another example is The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, with Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, he got her to see happiness and love, even if it hurts.
But the last example that we all know, was on our childhood film Toy Story, the friendship between Woody and Buzz. Even if Woody was the main character, Buzz was always there for him.
The co-protagonists are important, without them, there would be no story to tell.
