《Annie's P.O.V》
I've moved. Finally. In Auckland. I use to live in Gisborne. A shit hole.
Im finally away from all that bullshit and drama.
I can start fresh, A better School I hope and no more of my Family but don't get me wrong I still care but I still hated them.
It's just I didn't want to be with my Alcoholic Mother, My Abusive Brother and Drug Addicted Sister.
So I'm moving with My Aunty Nina and she has got legal guardianship/custody of me so I have changed my last name to my Dads. Yay.
"Hey Aunty Aiono?!"
"Yes My Baby?!" She replies from down stairs.
"When do I start school?!" I ask while trying to stick my poster up on the wall.
"Well..." I turn around and see Aunty Aiono mixing something in a bowl and her lips pursed together trying to remember which school.
"Oh, that's right. Rosewood High, and can you please taste this bub? Tell me if it needs more Garlic?"
She shoves the spoon in my mouth. I start laughing but then try to see what the puree needs.
"Nah I think you need more Kumara." She dips her (Clean) finger in the paste and tastes it. A grin appears on her face.
"Oh yeah bub, you're right." I sit there and smile at her.
"You're just like your father Annie-Girl." She kisses my forehead and walks back downstairs to finish cooking.
I sit there thinking about what Aunty Aiono said.
"You're just like your Father..."
I miss him so much. I haven't seen him since I was 5 when him and my Mother split. I wanted to go with him so bad but my Mum didn't want us children to spilt up. Bullshit. She just wanted the benefit money.
Man I hate her and her side of the family but i still care. I love my dad's side of the family more.
My Dad asked them to look after us children and they Promised they would take care of us.
My sister and brother hate the Aiono family (Dads Family) and love the Astley Family (Mums side) only because they have drugs, alcohol and they parents dont give a shit what there children do and my mum talks a lot of bullsh¡t about them which isn't true.
I went to school, got good grades, didn't smoke, drink or do drugs. While my siblings stayed home and had mates over.
Anyways I'm so nervous for school. It's in 4 days and Aunty Aiono Said some guests are coming over. I wonder who it is?
