*Ring* the school bell goes. My name is Crystal and I am 17 years old. My friends are my age and their names are Cameron, Michelle, Angel, Zoe, John, and Nick. There's only 2 hours left of school until summer vacation. After this I am going to a music school in the UK. Until a chance of a lifetime came along.
*At lunch*. "Hi Crystal", all my friends say while grinning. "What's going on", I ask. "Look on YouTube". "Why"? "Just do it". I look on YouTube to see a video with me singing and dancing. "Where did you get this from"? "Well we were walking past the room and heard you singing so we took a video of you and posted it on YouTube. But look at the comments". I scroll through the comments to see things like you're a good singer or you are talented but there's this comment that surprised me the most which must have shown because my friends were giggling. "No way", I say. "Yes way", they say. "I got a message from Simon Cowell asking me to come to his office in the UK next Monday where I have to sing a song to see if I am good enough to tour with a mystery band or not and maybe become a musician too"! "You better take this offer", my friends say. "But it might mean that I won't see you guys in a long time". "We want you to follow your dreams". I message him back to ask for details and stuff. "Party at my house tonight and bring sleeping bags", Zoe says. "Ok", we say.
*At home* I tell my parents the news. "Crystal, that's amazing. You should take this chance. It might be worth it". "I will". "Good". "Well my friend Zoe wants to have a party at her house tonight before I head to the UK on Monday". "Go ahead. I know you might not see them in awhile". "Thank you mom and dad". "Bye baby girl".
*At Zoe's House*
"Lets play truth or dare", Zoe says. "Cool", everybody said in unison. "I'll start", says Angel. "Crystal, truth or dare"? "Truth", I say. "Who do you think will be the mystery band will be"? "Honestly I don't know but I would love it to be One Direction". "That would be cool", says my friends. "Well we should probably go get something to eat", I said. "Good idea", says Zoe. After we eat, we changed into our pajamas and fell asleep.
*The next morning*
"Good morning", I say. "Morning", they replied. "We should go get breakfast", Angel. "I agree". After breakfast, we returned back to Zoe's house and I packed all my stuff and walked home. I packed all my personal belongings and my parents drove me to the airport. "Bye Crystal", my parents said. "Bye", I responded. I board the plane to go to the UK. I realize that this is the biggest opportunity of a lifetime.
