Ring Ring Ring
finally, summer break. our graduation was last week and I'm off to the real world. i start school at Florida University. it's always been my dream to be a gator. so me and some of my friends are going to move down there. I have 4 friends that are moving down there with me. Maddie, Colton, Courtney, and Jacob. Colton isn't going to college. but the rest of them are going to FU with me.
"hey eve!" yelled Courtney.
"hey guys" they all walked up to my locker. I'm the slow one.
"as soon as we get home so you guys want to start packing?" Colton said. Colton is my older brother. he's dating my best friend Maddie. Maddie is a little taller than me, she has beautiful blonde hair. Colton is a nerd. but he's a cute nerd who plays basketball. Courtney is a brunette like me. she's super pretty but never gives herself credit. Courtney, Maddie, and I play soccer. and we all got accepted on the FU soccer team. we're all gators! Jacob is very handsome. but he's also a player. so I wouldn't date him. anyways.. once I've got all my stuff shoved into my backpack me and Colton packed all of our stuff. it's always been me and Colton. I hate tales about my past. it wasn't very good to me. once I packed all the things I needed it didn't take us very long, I've been waiting to get out of this house for two years. we texted everybody to tell them that we were done and heading to Florida. we decided that we should be the ones to go first cause our friends still have family that they want to say goodbye to. me and Colton are going to take turns driving. I'm going first for driving. I'll drive 6 hours and Colton will drive the other six. for my six I just listened to music while he slept, I've always been afraid of falling asleep while driving so I took a five hour energy.
once we got to the half way point where we were going to switch drivers the energy drink had worn off and I was dead tired
"Colton, were in Atlanta. we can switch when I find a gas station."
"okay." he said as he was slowly waking up. lucky there was a gas station only half of a mile away. once we pulled in I was about to pee in my pants. so I ran into the station and relieved myself. I also decided to grab some snacks and drinks for the road because I was so focused on the road I forgot to eat. I waked out to Colton filling up the tank.
"hey there sis" Colton smiled
"hey" I yawned "you snore like a caveman" I laughed at him.
"hey at least it kept you awake" he laughed with me. "we have about 5 and a half hours left"
"okay I'm going to be sleeping, I'm so tired" I told him.
"well the gas is filled. might as well head there now." I nodded.
TIME SKIP
"Eve! Eve! Evelyn!!" I heard Colton yelling.
"what!!" I yelled
"welcome home" as soon I could comprehend what he said my eyes shot open. I jumped out of the car and ran to our house. it was beautiful. there are trees surrounding it and a path way to the beach. it's my dream home. it had plenty of rooms for me and my friends. plus I think Colton and Maddie might want to share a room. I go up stairs and claim this one room that was absolutely beautiful. it had a walk in closet and a balcony. I decided to get all of my stuff brought into my room.
"I'm going into town, do you want to come?" I heard Colton yell.
"no I'm gonna finish packing" I yelled back to him. and after that I heard the door close. it took me two hours to unpack all my stuff and my brother still hasn't come back. so I decided that it's my turn to go look around the town. since my brother took the car I had to walk there, it wasn't very far. it was a very small town. there were only a few little stores. I walk into this little store and I start to buy stuff to put into our fridge. when after I've grabbed a few things I turned around and bumped into somebody and I fell to the floor.
"are you okay?!" this man asked me and I look up to see who it was and my oh my he is gorgeous.
"yeah, I'm fine." I smiled as he helped me pick up my groceries. "what's your name?" I asked him.
"I'm Alex Peterson" he smirked "and you are?"
"I'm Evelyn Roberts, but you can call me Eve" I say as we shake hands.
"it's very nice to meet you Eve. are you new? I've never seen you around before." Alex asked me.
"yeah, me and my friends moved into a house down the street. we're freshman at FU."
"very fun, I don't go to college but I work at the auto shop" the fact that he works on cars makes him 20x hotter.
"I should probably go check out." I told him.
"I'll help" he said pretty quickly "if you don't mind that is" he smiled a smile that made me shiver.
"I'd like that" I smiled at him. As I Wales to the counter I could feel him staring at me, but I'm not complaining. as I was checking out i aid bye to Alex and grabbed the bags and walked out. then all of a sudden I heard somebody yell my name, I turned around to see Alex running towards me. once he caught his breath he said
"when can I see you again?"
"i don't know, I'm free anytime."
"meet me at my work tomorrow at 12. I get off early" he smiled at me. "oh and wear something cute we're going to the movies" and he smirked. I rolled my eyes and nodded.
"Bye Alex, it was nice meeting you"
"Bye Eve, see you tomorrow" he winked at me, and the butterflies just exploded in my stomach. could I this day get any better? I walked up to the house to see that Colton's car was parked in the driveway. I walked into the house and started putting the groceries away. and Colton comes running down the stairs.
"hey eve"
"hiya colty"
"did you get groceries?"
"yes, I had nothing better to do so I decided to just go out and get food so we can survive" I looked at him and smiled.
"everybody should be here at any moment. they left a few hours after we did. I smiled. I have so much I have to tell Maddie and Courtney.
-Ding Dong Ding Ding-
me and Colton ran to the door and opened it to see Maddie, Courtney, and Jacob. I screamed and ran up to hug Courtney and Maddie. I was so happy I finally got to live I. a house with them. Jacob and Colton did their bro hug, or whatever you want to call it. I told them to go claim their rooms and then I told Maddie and Courtney that I had to tell them something. I walked upstairs after those three went running upstairs to get the better rooms. I went into my room and got onto my laptop, but that was interrupted when Maddie and Courtney came rushing in asking about what the news was.
"okay guys are you ready for this?"
"YES" they screamed in unison
"today I was out getting groceries and this guy bumped into me knocking my on the ground. he was so gorgeous and now he's taking me to the movies tomorrow" I smiled, they both looked at me and screamed.
"Eve! you haven't been here two days and you already have a date!" Courtney yelled.
"yeah!" I said. I can't believe it. I already love it here.
"when do we get to meet this boy?" Maddie asked. Courtney nodded in agreement.
"well, let's see how tomorrow goes" I said to them and they just nodded "okay now, you guys go get unpacked" I smiled at them as they ran off.
"they there boo thang" Jacob said as he walked into my room. he's always had a small crush on me. but he's like a brother to me, that would be way too weird.
"what's up Jac?"
" I had to take the attic room because you all got all the good rooms" I frowned as he sat down.
"sorry about your luck bro" I laughed "it can't be that bad"
"you're right, it's actually a pretty cool room" he bragged.
"if you want to brag go brag to Colton I'm tired" I laughed as I throw a pillow at him.
"okay, okay, geez" he smiled and walked out. it was 10 and I'm dead tired. I changed and payed down excited for my date with Alex tomorrow. I hope it's gonna be a good one. and I fall asleep thinking about Alex Peterson.
