In the corner of the room there was a desk completely clean, nothing but his laptop, The Journal and a pencil. There were white books shelves built into the wall, three of them. They were filled with books. There were two closets one held his shirts all hung up and tidy. The other contained nothing but a single unopened envelope from Oliver's father. He swore he would never read it.
Oliver's father left his family when he was just a baby. Oliver believed that his father didn't deserve the chance to explain anything in a pity letter. Above his bed there was a dream catcher. On the wall in front of his bed his dresser was pushed up against the wall, a white board hanging beside it on the left and a calendar on the right. Sitting on top of the dresser was a flat screen TV and a blue ray player hooked up beside it. On the front of the door there was a sign that said KEEP OUT. The door was always closed whether or not Oliver was inside the room. No one besides Oliver had ever seen this room.
This was Oliver's place to think. This was his safe haven.
