Chica's POV.
We tiptoed down the stairs and stood still when we got to the basement door.
"What if Marionette was lying?" Bonnie stammered.
"Don't be stupid." Toy Chica laughed.
I started backing away from the basement door.
"I don't want to go in there. And plus, I agree with Bonnie. Marionette was obviously lying. He hates us! Why risk our lives b-"
"SHUT UP! If you two are going to be stupid little cowards then you can go back to the Show Stage and cry a river of tears because Mangle is gone. You'll never forgive yourselves! Well, me and Toy Chica are gonna give it a go, trying to get that tape. I just want my Mangle back." Foxy gabbled, his eyes brimming with tears.
I sighed. I didn't want to go in the stupid old basement, but deep down inside my endoskeleton, I knew that Foxy was right. If me and Bonnie didn't try and get that tape, we would never forgive ourselves.
"Come on Foxy. Let's get Mangle back, her life and her memory." Toy Chica said, grabbing Foxy's hand and scowling at me and Bonnie.
"Wait!" I yelled. "You're right. We're cowards. But...even though I'm scared..."
Foxy took hold of my hand as well as Toy Chica's and squeezed it.
"We don't have to go in there." He said softly, smiling at me.
Toy Chica sighed and shouted:
"Do you know what? I'm going to go to that Marionette, pin him on the ground and slap his fat a-"
"Ok, ok! Calm down Chi!" Foxy laughed. "We'll all go and ask Purple Freddy. Surely he won't lie, right? Although he did trick me and kill Ma-"
"Let's go and ask Purple Freddy. Then, Toy Chica, you can go and slap Marionettes fat butt." Bonnie said, taking my hand and dragging us all down the several flights of stairs.
"Don't worry Mangle, we're going to get you back." Foxy muttered under his breath.
'Hopefully...' I thought.
