Brooklyn's Pov

It's been a almost a month since I been held captive . They don't treat me bad , they don't keep me locked up . I have a gps thingy on my ankle so they always know where I'm at. I still don't know why am I here, or who wants me captive. A few days ago I seen a girl get bit by one of the workers here, I also saw a fight between vampires and I saw how could Grayson die. They kept reminding me if I did anything stupid they will kill Grayson, Ethan, Jaque, also my family In front of me. I don't really care about my family all they ever did was hurt me. Even my mom , she has gotten so frustrated that she told me to leave and never come back once. I bet right now she is happy. I also started to cut , I been so down , but they don't know it . But I made a good friend here his name is Jack Dail. He is very nice I love being with him, he's not like the other douche bags here. Yeah he is very scary when he turns into a vampire but it doesn't scare me anymore. Know I have a desire to turn into a vampire. Jack told me that it's hard being a vampire it comes with many rules. He also told me that they don't want me to turn into a vampire because , the more weak I am the more they can hurt Grayson. Honestly I miss Grayson but he hasn't came to my rescue. I hate him for that and also I wish he didn't because he will die if he does. That's one more reason I cut I'm confused.

Jack's Pov

"Hey, Brook " I said walking into her room, she was beautiful let me tell you that. " Hey Jack, what's up" she replied. Getting up from her bed to hug me. I always felt weird when she was close to me. " I just wanted to inform you that you start school, since you are a sophomore ( or your current grade ) and they are basically in school I convinced them to go to school with me " I said. " Yeah I bet I missed a lot of work I was doing good in school. But I would love to go to school and be away from here." She said back. " Also we got the same schedule , since they want me to keep an eye on you since you are in public " I told her. " Don't worry Jack I won't ,I don't want to get you in trouble, and If I do something stupid I will make sure I die" she told me. I grabbed her hands " Don't say that you are beautiful Brook " I said looking at her hands to kiss them but all I see is cuts. " Brook oh my god what happened " I said looking up to her she started to cry. I didn't felt the urge to bite her like I would usually will, I felt sadness. I hugged her. " I don't know why all of this is happening to me. I had a bad life Jack and it's the only way I could get relived. I don't live happily. If only I didn't fall for Grayson, if only I didn't meet Grayson. Maybe it's not that maybe I should of died. Everything is always bad for me, and I'm tired of it Jack. " she said sobbing. I felt sad for her, it seems like she been through a lot. She needed love and I'm willing to give her it. " Brook I'm sorry, you just need time to get away , you need love Brook " I said rubbing her back , as she sobbed uncontrollably. " I always need it , I never knew what love was. I love Grayson but he doesn't love me. No one does Jack, I was meant to not love. " she said sitting up. I swiped her tears away. I think now it's the best moment to make my move on her, we been friends since she came here. " Brook let me take you out tonight, let me take away your pain" I said kissing her cuts. " Jack I don't know , I don't feel like going out . I am starting to love being here in my room" she replied. " Brook it only hurts you more, please " I begged her. " ok fine but where would we go , I would like to go eat somewhere fancy " she said laughing. I loved to see her laugh. " Alright then we will go in a fancy place, you have to look beautiful. Even though you already are. I would have some dresses be brought to you here. " I said holding her hands as I got up. " oh and I asked for permission already don't worry, and make up comes included " I added laughing and walking to her door. A date with Brook , what can be better than that. I have to get ready since its 5 and I will come get her at 7. I left to get everything ready.

Brooklyn's Pov

The dresses that Jack sent to me are beautiful. I was actually happy to go out. I put on a black dress with studs , curl my hair, and put some black heels also. I picked the dress with sleeves since I didn't want anyone seeing my cuts. I was ready to go it was 6:55. I pack up my last things and got my small purse. I haven't looked this beautiful in a long time, not even for Grayson. I heard a knock at my bedroom door, I open it to see jack in a dress shirt & pants.He looked good , the dress shirt was fitted so it fit his arms perfectly. " Woah Brook you look stunning, are you sure you are not a channel model" he said taking me out . " I'm positive that I'm not, but you should start wearing dress shirt it makes you look handsome " I said winking at him making him blush. I love Jack as a friend, he's been so nice to me. " Mind if I take your hand" he said . " Of course not" I said laughing. We left to this fancy place, it looked like only rich people came here. It was one of those places that took forever to reserve. " May I" Jack said as he let out his hand. I took it and put my hand through his arm. The place was too beautiful. How did he get the money for this .

Jack's Pov

Brook wouldn't stop staring at the place. " May I" I said , she put her hands through my arm. " How did you afford this Jack " she said with the biggest smile I seen on her. " oh I got my ways" I said winking at her. We walked in " Jack Dail" I told the man. " Jack , thanks so much for taking me out. This night is going to be one to remember " she told me as the man took us to our table. " Brook I just want to see you happy , that's all and I would do what ever " I told her. She looked at me and kissed my cheek. " Thanks Jack" she said. I felt this weird feeling in my stomach.Along the way , probably 3 tables from ours, I see someone familiar. He looked at me then at Brook.

We followed the man Jack suddenly stopped. Then I saw why. It can't be.........
