She stepped off the bus, her hair blowing around in the wind. I took a large breath, picking up whiffs of her perfume. She turned and started walking past me. Her long black hair flowing behind her. The dark hair made her eyes pop out more than they already did. A light blue glow with dark makeup surrounding it. It was a sea I would happily drown in slowly, her name being the last thing to pass my lips as I suffocated under the water. Her white porcelain skin was flawless, her lips however were a natural blood red. Never chapped due to the constant use of her scented lip glosses. She was dressed in her normal attire of a dark tee and skinny jeans with her black Vans. She wore her normal black ring choker and hair ties on her wrists. Her backpack always slung over one shoulder, charms and string dolls jingling on it as she walked.
She walked up towards me. Her scent of shampoo strong and sweet. Always vanilla. Always intoxicating. I managed to hunt down the scent in a purfume and spray my room with it constantly, refusing to use any other air freshener.
"How's the yearbook club going?" She asked me. Her voice could be a drug. Light and sweet but still sad and with an edge. She wasn't the happiest person but she was always energetic and strong. As stubborn as a mule and she knew it, preferring the word 'determined' instead.
"Pretty good actually. Say cheese!!" I said holding up the camera around my neck to snap a picture of her as she posed.
"That's a good one!" She added looking over my shoulder to see the camera, her hair brushing over my shoulder. I didn't miss the chance to smell it up close. I wasn't in a yearbook club at all. I just used it as an excuse to get pictures of her to hang on my wall of others that were secretly taken.
"It is actually." Before I could say more the bell rang and we both turned to rush to our classes. We had quite a few together, including first hour.
We walked into class and sat down at our arranged seating. She sat on the right in the second row 6th seat. I however sat in the very back row on the left side 1st seat. This gave me a perfect angle to sneak a picture here and there, also allowing me to watch and look at her all hour.
She payed attention and took notes that I would later take while she tutored me after class. I knew the materials but dropped my grades low, making an excuse to see her more after school.
No one thought anything of it. I had it so well planned no one would be able to notice even if they picked it with a fine toothed comb. I couldn't make one mistake or else everyone would know and my plan would be ruined.
I couldn't let that happen. She loved me, she just didn't know it yet. She is even convinced I'm gay. I thought of that to cover any accusations of having a "crush" on her. I couldn't let any discomfort or nervousness ruin it either. Somehow she trusted me better that way as well.
Everything was perfectly put together. I was very impressed by myself on how well it has worked out. Absolutely no holes. I can play this out for as long as I needed to. Eventually she will realize she loves me, then we will be happily together.
It was flawless.
