Alex:"I Swear This Time I Mean It" by Mayday Parade
Derek's words spoke straight to your heart. Up in your balcony seats with Alex entirely alone other than the crowd that was below you. You swayed back and forth at the front of the balcony looking down at Derek alone on the stage with a guitar singing his little heart out. From behind you, you felt Alex's arms snake around your waste and he pulled you into him. "Would you like to dance Y/N?" "I would love that Lex." He took your hands and turned you around. You placed your hands around his neck, he placed his on your waist. You swayed back and forth with him, resting your head on his shoulder. When it reached the chorus, Alex started singing to you. You looked up at him and smiled, his sweet voice blending with Derek's, and you fell into your own world of happiness. It was just you and Alex in that balcony, both so in love with each other without noticing how much both of you meant to one another. When the song ended, Derek had noticed you and said "I know that couple up there in the balcony, and by their dancing, I can tell they're really in love. Congrats on finding that special someone." You smiled. You couldn't be more happy in that moment. Alex kissed you behind your ear. "I'm not going to let you go. Ever. I love you." "You always say that." "I swear this time I mean it." "You're adorable." You kissed him again and couldn't wait to get home with your adoring boyfriend who meant everything to you.
Jack:
"Nine in the Afternoon" by
Panic! At The DiscoYou were never the best at relationships, and neither was Jack Barakat. Therefore when you got together, you never expected it to be what you always wanted. Jack was DJ-ing at another bar venue tonight and you decided to go with him. Wearing jeans, a pair of heals and your favorite chunky sweater. "Well you look great""I'm not really dressing up dumbo." "You still look good". With that you got in the car and drove to the bar. Jack was having a grand time playing music. Twords the end of the night, lots of people had gone home and you both were left with what was about 50 people dancing. Jack had decided to end the night there, but not without playing one final song. Good old Panic!'s Nine In The Afternoon. "Okay you guys, this is the last song of the night, and it goes out to my wonderful girlfriend Y/N over there". The crowd cheered and Jack started the song. He ran over to you and grabbed your waist. "Will you dance with me?" "Not really a dancing song for our first dance." "Come on, please. It's kinda fast. I didn't want some sappy love song as our first dance." "It is kind of sappy though, but I'll dance." Jack took your hands and you danced with spins and twists to the beat of the music. Brendon's angelic voice and Ryan's beautiful harmonies filled the room that you were dancing in. You were having the time of your life dancing and laughing with Jack. For those short minutes of the song you felt they could last forever. At the end of the song you looked at Jack and jumped into his arms and kissed him. This song now had so much meaning to you. Now you were driving back to Jack's house, where you were spending the night. "Why was that song sappy to you?" "Because that was the bar where we met and that was our first dance and..." "I was telling you you are beautiful and that I loved you." You sat silently for a moment. "Qualifies as sappy for me, how about you" "Ya, that qualifies as sappy for me." "But I like sappy. And I love you." "I love you too." You turned on the radio to see what was playing on the XM station. And right there on the first station was Nine In The Afternoon.
Zack:
"Iris" by
The Goo Goo DollsWhy on earth did the people at your college think it was a good idea to have a dance. You weren't in middle school or high school anymore, what was the point? Why did you even put it on your calendar, wasn't like you wanted to go. But of course, your boyfriend Zack saw it and thought it was a great idea since he was on break from tour and it was something fun to do with you. So you went shopping, picked out a dress, and planned out your makeup for that day. Suddenly, the date was upon you and your doorbell rang on that fateful night. Zack showed up in a suit with a small bow tie on and he gave you a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He was so sweet. You drove to the college gym and walked in to the theme of "under the stars", tacky much? Anyways, you and Zack sat at a table and ate some food. That was the only reason you were there really, free food and time with Zack. You laughed and talked as conversations usually go with Zack. Eventually, he pulled out the dance card. "Y/n let's go dance" "Noooooo. I don't want to." "Y/n. Please. You didn't get dressed up for nothing. Other people have to see you other than me. Come on, I'll go request a song." "Fine. Just for you." He smiled. He ran over to the DJ and requested the song. He came back and took your hand pulling you twords the dance floor. Then came the starting notes to The Goo Goo Doll's Iris, one of your favorite songs. You smiled at Zack and laid your head on his shoulder. "You know, this is our first dance." You chuckled at that thought. It was. "And I'd give up forever to touch you.." "Cause I know that you feel me some how." "You're the closest to heaven, that I'll ever be." "And I don't want to go home right now." You kept singing lines back and forth to each other, him singing into his ear you singing into his. Once the song was over, you looked at him, and he kissed you on the lips. You were happy you went now, glad he made you go. "Did I do good for a first dance?" "You did great babe."
Rian:
"Photograph" by
Ed SheeranYou were in the car, and Rian was driving you back to his place after dinner. It was about 9:30pm on a Thursday night, and you were listening to the radio to keep you guys company during the hour ride home. He had taken you to a fancy restaurant that night and you were happy to get home and watch a movie in PJs, not in high heals and strapless bra. Rain drops had started to fall on the windshield, and you were about to drive past the spot where you and Rian had your first date, the cliff was just up the hill and down a side road, a road that Rian had turned down. "Rian why are we going to the cliff?" "You'll see" He parked the car at the cliff. "What are we doing here Rian?" "Any second now..." Then, on the radio you heard Ed Sheeran's photograph on the radio. "Come on."
"It's raining Ri....." "Just come on." He turned up the radio full blast and put down the windows. He ran out in the rain and opened your door and helped you out of the car. He put your hands around your waste, and you knew what was happening, your first dance. "Dance with me" So you put your hands around his neck and danced. He hummed softly to the lyrics, and spun you around the rain water running off of your dress and spinning with you. You laughed as he spun you again this time pulling you in and kissing you. You pulled away and smiled pressing your forehead against his. The rain had soaked both of you but you were too happy to care. You loved him. The ending notes to photograph played and you got back into the car. You got back to Rian's and walked inside. Keys were thrown onto the counter, and heals kicked off at the door. Sopping wet clothes were peeled off, and into the bedroom you went, photograph still stuck in your head.A/n
So I thought this would be cute. I might do a wedding one later on, maybe in a couple chapters. Hope you liked it!
