Ryan and Balz

(Ricky pov)

I woke with a thirst,  it was so intense it hurt so bad.  A delicious smell filled my senses and I open my eyes. My back was healed and Carmen was still snuggled up to me. Shit, the smell was her and my thirst craving was her. I tried to get up without waking her up, but once I began to move she woke. I knew what Abigail wanted me to do,  but I won't give in so easy. "How are you able to move, " Carmen asked shocked. "Well I did tell you I would explain when the time is right, " I nod,"Just let me do something really quick okay? " She nods and I leave the room after destroying the X-ray's. "Why don't you just give in, " Abigail asked smirking, " you will only crave her blood." "Because I am stronger than you realize," I said still walking and she was walking along with me. "You do know she is your mate, she just needs to be turned, " Abigail told me, " I brought her to you. " "Why so I can get with her and leave Chris, " ny voice slowed as it sank in she was doing exactly that. She smiles at me, " you deserve to be happy." "Why are you being light on me, " I asked . "Oh there is a catch there is, " her smile turns evil, " she has a tumor growing that doctors can't remove without certain brain damage to her. It's up to you so save her." I wipe around to look at her finding she was no longer there. "What is wrong, " I heard her but couldn't see her," I will clear the hospitals memory if you getting hurt and all the digital documents. This will give you more time to think and explain to her what you really are." I head back to the room finding her already sitting up. I close and lock the door.  I sat on the bed taking a deep breath. "Yes I just met you but I have a good feeling about you," I said looking at her, " but what you are about to see may scare you. " She looks at me waiting for me to continue. I let my fangs show along with my black hungry eyes and she stopped breathing, she starts at me. I hide it again, " I am a vampire a damned vampire. God this sounds like twilight." "E-exept she wasn't scared shitless an honestly I want to scream and run, " she said getting me to laugh. "The only reason we can walk in the sun because of Abigail, she cursed Chris that way and it spread through the band," I told her. Suddenly she grabs her head groaning. "What is wrong, " I asked pulling her on my lap. "I got a really bad headache suddenly, " she shivers yet I sense  her temperature rising. "She has less than a month, " I hear Abigail's voice whisper through the air.

(Balz pov)

I helped Ryan get (y/n) back to the waiting room, and found Chris worried. He saw her and right way he took her into his arms. I groan, I didn't like hospitals. There was so much blood it was driving my thirst to hell. "I am gonna go and get something to eat, " I told them. "Here I will go with you, " Ryan said. We head out to find 'food'. My thirst got worse when we passed a bleeding out person in a room. "What are you doing, " Ryan hissed lowly. I then realized I had been walking in the direction of an open room with a young female who was sleeping. I could tell by her heart she wasn't gonna make it. I sneak into the room without anyone seeing besides Ryan who did the same. "Why are we here, " he asked but clearly was scolding me, he went silent when a nurse walked in. "I am sorry there is no visitors when the patient is sleeping ," she said kindly but clearly was eyeing Ryan. "What is a vampire doing working for a hospital, " Ryan asked taking me back. I listened to her hear, it was immortal. Her eyes slowly meet his shocked. "I, " she said then closed her mouth but continued, " I need the money." He stepped closer to her completely distracted. I look back at the woman who was asleep. I got close to her bed side and her eyes flutter open. My heart dropped, I knew her. Hazel,  she had been stuck in my memory for years. She had been one of my friends in highschool. "Balz, " she said weakly smiling, " I heard your band survived." "Yes it did, " I nod feeling my heart burning. She was dying, and I have never once tryed to contact her. "I am so sorry, " I said looking down. "Josh," She said catching my attention ," I know I am not gonna make it, they won't tell me straight up but I know it. I have always loved ,not just a friend but more than that." I felt my heart shatter seeing her dying and just poured something she has kept from me for years. I kiss her lips softly and she kisses back. "This might hurt, " I warned her. I bit her neck draining her.

(Ryan pov)

I then realized what he was doing. "Balz, " I said trying to snap him back. His wrist was already in her mouth, and she clings onto his wrist for dear life. "Balz, " I said but the nurse stopped me.  "If you stop him while she is clinging to life by a thread it will take him with, " she warned. Finally she let go as her body changes. "Balz, " I scold. "I knew her, " he told me, " I love her and she has a second chance at life." "Do you realize how many vampire there are now, " I said through my teeth," With more vampires it will be harder to contain that secret."  "Then she is my responsibility ," he said stroking her hair as the physical changes were clear. She had looked starved earlier, but now looked healthy and her lips tinted with Balz's blood. "Elizabeth please you got to help us. No one can know she was about to die but magically survive," I said looking at her. "On it, " she turns to leave. I grab her hand, " meet us in the ICU waiting room. " She nods then leaves.
