"Hey!" I said as Kanika walked in.
"Hi,"she said.
Something about her tone made me realize her mood was off.
"Why did you run away?" She asked.
She was bound to ask someday.
"They wanted me to get married. I already like someone else that I met at a party. He's really nice,"I said.
"What's his name? What does he do?" She asked.
"He's name is..."I was saying but her phone went off.
"Hello,"she said.
"But.."
"Okay. We'll see you later."
"What happen?" I asked.
"This guy I met told me to join him for dinner. His brother is going as well, so I'm taking you,"she said.
"Aayyyyeee Hhhaaayyyeee. What's his name?" I asked.
"I'm not going to tell you. Now, go and get ready,"she said.
"Aye aye captain!" I said and left.
