In a futuristic world, wars are fought with large mechanicals the humans control by sitting inside them. The pilot cannot be seen by the people outside, but the pilot can see everything.
A foreign empire manages to develop superior technology and weaponry to take over an area that was once ruled as a small kingdom. This developed fear in the people, and they were too afraid to fight back.
But, a peace wanting teenager, who happens to be a very talented mechanic, decides that he won't stand for the prejudice in the empires people.
He designs a mechanical that rivals the empires machinery.
