Chapter 2 "Good Bye"

3rd POV.

You couldn't believe that you, a young lady born from the Lord's wife from Scaleswind, was marrying a High Priest from O'Khasis. Your father was the Lord of Scaleswind. Your mother... well... she died six years after you were born from the Shadow Souls. They took your mother away into a nearby forest. Then after a couple of seconds you heard her scream. You were very sad and didn't know what happened. After that incident occurred... you never wanted to hear or talk about the Shadow Souls or your mother. The topic just irritated you. You stopped thinking of your mother and father and faced your attention to the priest doing the reception started to speak in a low strong voice.

Priest- Do you, Zane take this beautiful young lady to be your lovely wife?

Zane- I DO *He gave you yet another devious smile.*

You just rolled your eyes and sighed.

Priest- And do you, Y/N...

When the priest was talking you heard a sound that sounded very familiar outside of the castle. You have heard this sound before. When you were once a little girl. It sounded dead and evil, very evil. But then you focused your attention to the priest when you heard him say.

Priest- This handsome powerful young man to be your husband.

Y/N- I... AHHHHH!!!

Wedding Guest- LOOK OVER THERE WHAT IS THAT!

Everyone in the palace looked over to the front gates and a swarm of Shadow Souls barrged through the big wooden gates. You knew it. You knew it was them.

Y/N POV.

I knew it was the Shadow Souls. I could remember that noise from anywhere. I mean... they killed mother. How would I not forget. So I took off my white heels and ran straight for the gate. I dodged a couple of Shadow Souls when all of a sudden a Shadow Soul snuck up behind me. I feel onto the hard tile and kept on running. Zane saw me and called me numerous times. I looked back at him, but just kept on running. He was fighting off the Shadow Souls with his black shiny sword.

Zane- Y/N!

He run up to me with his sword and asked.

Zane- Where do you think you are going. 

He said while fighting off Shadow Souls.

Y/N- No where.

Zane- Well apparently you are going somewhere.

Y/N- And why do you care?!

I ran up to the backpack I put down just before the wedding and put it on. It carried all of the supplies I needed to keep myself alive and safe during my escape.

Zane- Because you are my wife, and you are one of the future rulers of O'Khasis. And I need to protect you.

Y/N- You don't need to protect me! I can protect myself! * You pulled out a sword you put in the backpack and slaughtered one of the Shadow Souls that was coming after you while looking at Zane.* And also I never said I DO!

Zane- Well you did just now.

Y/N- Well that doesn't count you dumbie! As you can see O'Khasis is at war with Shadow Souls. And instead of talking to me. Go save other people!

Zane- AHH!

One of the shadow Souls took him down. I looked at the Shadow Soul and it looked back. It's heart was cold and dark. There was really no heart at all actually. His eyes were red and soulless like Zane. I ran straight to the green dark forest, as Zane was fighting off the Shadow Souls.

Y/N- Good bye father...

I ran straight to the forest hoping to get away from Zane.
