"Aomine was with a girl."

"What girl?"

"I don't know her. I don't think him and her are dating but they are very close. She must be new around here."

"Did Aomine introduce you to her?"

"Yes, but I wasn't interested... I believe her name was...

"...(y/fn)..."

Akashi was livid. Rage didn't describe the anger he had. He recalled calling the (y/ln) residence and being forced to leave a message.

However Midorima didn't know the extent of (y/fn)'s relation to Seijuro.

"Tell me Shintarō, was this girl wearing a ring?"

"She was wearing a ring with a ruby in it..."

It seemed to be clicking on Midorima's head. The ring had a glare about it, the same glare Seijuro had given him and others many times.

In some way this girl was Akashi's property.

Akashi thanked Midorima as calmly as he could muster. Once he had slammed his phone shut he threw it at the wall. The device smacked the stationary wall and broke into pieces.

He could feel anger boiling in his blood. "That damn girl," he spoke allowed to no one in particular.

He thought back to his past with (y/fn) when she had bested him at Shogi.

--- flashback ---

Akashi smiled at the girl in front of him. God she was perfect. Her body was perfect. Even down to the way she sat. Her lean legs were crossed and her posture was straight. The only problem was, she was glaring at Akashi. Her eyes were shooting daggers at him. Her large (y/ec) irises watched his every calculated move. Her eyes showed that she was clearly calculating his death. However he enjoyed it.

He reached out and elegantly moved a piece.

"That's a bad decision," she warned Akashi.

He only smiled brighter at her. He didn't take in the full measure of her words, he was too distracted by the beautiful vocals floating through the air.

He admired her more. She was living perfection. Akashi admired (y/fn). He wanted (y/fn)... And she would be his...

He laughed, "(y/fn) the only bad decision is you declining my offer."

The red head referenced the marriage proposal he had offered the girl. She had rudely rejected, however no was not a word when it came to matters such as this.

In reality, no was not a word in Akashi's vocabulary.

"I've told you... I don't want to marry a man like you."

The girl was hissing at him. She was ridged like an animal trapped in a cage. She was practically trying not to show him her fangs.

"What's so bad about me?"
