You hear his midnight wails,
You could've called the police but you failed,
He spent all his money on make up,
He had bruises and scars he needed to cover up,
You could've been his guardian angel,
Gave him a place to stay until he could be able,
To stay on his own feet everyday,
Means begging 'Please let me stay'!,
A safe haven is what he has always needed,
His issue must be heeded,
Don't act so oblivious to his pain,
Those cuts, bruises, and scars are no feign,
Stop for a minute and help,
Don't just listen as he yelps,
Don't tune out the warnings,
It could be your last chance before mourning,
You could've been his savior the whole time,
But you let them commit those crimes,
Beware of my rhymes,
Please take them to mind.
He is covered in bruises and scars,
Mental illness that won't let him go very far,
He is shown no love,
He had no home.
So please if you're out there,
Help him take care,
Don't ignore this message of faith,
For his mind is kind with words of hate.
