Ch. 2
The days leading up to the choir trip, were very exciting and stressful. My friends were all getting antsy, and things in choir were trying to get everything down pat. I just kept my head held up high and waited for this three hour charter bus ride.
The day of the trip, we had a half a day of school. All the choir kids had the same lunch schedule. I sat with Eli and his friends. I met a couple new people. But Tyler was there, a kid named Brandon, and Alan. We all say there getting excited. All our stuff was in the choir room ready to be out on the bus. I talked to a few of them, nothing important. The next hour or so was meet up in the choir room, get your shit, and lets get the hell out of here type thing. We were going to Branson, Missouri.
The ride there was so much fun. I sat by myself, and Alan sat across from me, Tyler sat diagonal from me and in front of Alan. Next to Alan was Eli. It was so cool. I had strawberry lemonade with me, and Tyler said "Mmmmm STRAWBERRIES!!" I said, "Tyler, you are so dumb!! But it's why I love you!". We laughed and took cat naps. It decided to start pouring and I said to myself 'Of course it had to rain'. Mrs. Becky was kind of mad that it started to rain. We all just accepted that. When we finally got to our hotel, we found our roommates. The people I'm rooming with, I don't like. So I just decided not to think about it. Eli, Tyler, Alan, and Sammy all roomed together. Sammy is one of the kids I met at the lunch table today. So we all got to our rooms and then we got ready to go eat dinner.
At the Dixie Stampede we all got these huge meals. A Cornish hen that Tyler decided to do a frontal with his face into the chicken. That was so funny. I cracked up because I was sitting next to him. He just simply made me laugh and want to have a good time. During the show we all ate, and then afterward we went back to our hotels. Curfew was around eleven and it was about ten. So I went to go say goodnight to Alan, and Eli came outside to get Alan's attention. Alan took it the wrong way and punched Eli square in the face. Of course I was worried, but we weren't allowed in boys rooms or vice versa. Tyler knew I was in Alan's room. Mrs. Becky was coming and if I got caught, all hell would break loose. Tyler saved me. He dragged me out just in time. I was so thankful. I kept telling him that I didn't know how to repay him.
The next couple of days went by a little too fast and we all had a bunch of drama filled, great moments, that we, and I, will never forget.
