Long day

parenting 101

Lous p.o.v 

We were packing up for our family vacation and Peter got a phone call when he was done he pulled   me into the house and his  me his  celled and asked him if he could go to a conference  in Fort mac And also mentioned that the woman's club  wanted  me to speak there I agreed .

Georgies p.o .v

yay I'm going fishing with Jack! 

Amy's  p.o.v

I walked into the house after working with a horse named hot shot Caleb bought him from a retired barrell racer and for some reason he refused to go around the first barrell.

hey amy can I talk to you yes Lou what's up .

well  I was wondering if you could watch Katie so me and Peter can go to Fort mac for the weekend. 

Sure .

every one  left that after noon 

I was about to take Katie back to the house but she said no and then when she b lined for the house it clicks

I was  going to cell ty I decided not to  because he had just gotten off the  night shift at the vet clinic and could use the rest. 

I guess I can work with hot shot  when Katie is napping I thought and we went back to the house. 

We had a great day  but  Katie  didn't  nap and I didn't want to have to cell ty but by 8.00 I was exhausted and gave in.

Hey  Ty  can you come over  .

depends what's in it for me  ty said  jokingly .

will I'm alone will Katie is here  but if you help me put her to bed then we can spend some time together. 

ok I'm on my way ty said .

After we talked I sat on the couch for the first time today and didn't want to move  .

Ty got there about half an hour later 

tys p.o.v

I walked into the house and saw amy sitting on the couch and she looked exhausted .

hey babe  .

Hey honey thanks for coming over  she said .

No problem you look so tired I say. 

I I'm so   can  you please help me put her to bed. 

 Of course  .

It took an hour to get Katie to  bed 

I saw how exhausted amy was and I had one question why didn't you cell me earlier .

Because you were tired Amy said.

I don't care you should have called me earlier.

But if I can't do it for even one day without your help then what is it going to be like when we have kids Amy asked.

When we have kids I'll be right there to help you your not going to do it alone..

You don't know how happy to hear that Amy said smiling.

I'll be right back Amy said.

Amy came back a minute later in tears.

She handed me a pregnancy test.

It was positive.

Okay I say.

Okay Amy snapped.

Yeah I'm excited I say

How are you not freaking out Amy asked.

Because it's going to be fine I say.
